He's the light of her life.

And just how do we know this is consensual? What if the Chandelier is an unwilling participant, in this abusive relationship? He may find the thought of sexual relations with a human woman disgusting, but without the means to express himself, is trapped.

Even if not, how do we even know the Chandelier likes human women? Maybe he's more of a candle stick kind of large, decorative hanging light. All that hot, dripping, wax, oozing from the firey tip...

I hope the relationship doesn't sour on her. If she (and I am not wishing this) has some form of accident and is found dead in her home. The detectives may have to claim it WAS Lumiere, with his candlestick, in the parlor.
