Getting More POP-UP Ads Only On ATS

I've been getting a small pop-up at the bottom of my mobile screen on and off for a while now, maybe a weeks or so, nothing there at the moment (touch wood).

To be honest, it doesn't bother me that much as their tiny and for the most part out of the way. If I need to write in the dialogue box, I just close it.

Maybe others are seeing something different to me,

ETA, I've just visited my local news website, there's a small pop-up there too now, never used to be, bit odd.

It’s been like that for a month or two, basically impossible to read on my phone and frustrating on my ipad

Pop up at the bottom of my phone and today it keeps redirecting to another page....
I don't want a new I phone dammit...

Started today, that stupid changes page and goes to Walmart thing saying your a winner!

Have to close the page and reopen the site, so annoying, I'm turning my _javascript back off . So tired of this crap

I won a prize on Walmart.

But when I clicked it, it just disappeared 😬

Now what !!!

So far in the last two days I've won 14 one thousand dollar Walmart gift cards.

I've never not had the ads people are talking about recently though. I certainly don't like them, but am used to them at this point and I will take them over the redirects!

That said, I wonder if the two issues are related.

The ads I don't mind too much. Funding def has to come from somewhere.
Those redirects and browser hijacks though. Man I don't understand how that even came to be.
Any other site on the net, first redirect I get, I close it up and never visit the site again.
ATS, I'm more tolerant about it, but if it becomes permanent I'll rethink things

No problem at all with ads, I think it's weird we didn't see them before. No members contribution is THAT spectacular they can singlehandedly keep the site going without income from ads.

Yes it is impossible to sign in,overcome with ads like old sites that did porn bombs,this is a joke,as I'm posting this I am dodging ads

Looks like right winger circle jerks aren't the best income generators, no wonder twitter is having a purge, lucky there are ads here to pick up the slack otherwise we would all have no choice but to start twatting.

Getting really bad, sorry but I can't deal with the ads, I will leave until someone messages me it's resolved, it's very bad.

Same has been happening to me over the past few days. Its EXTREMELY annoying and only happens when visiting ATS.

Why am I getting my browser hijacked????

I shifted to DuckDuckGo...and it reduced the amount of pop-ups.
Better...but I'm still getting the bottom ones, though.
