Shooting Rampage in Tyler, Texas (from ATSNN)

I saw this on the news...quite an impressive story. Apparently, the man in question shot his ex-wife over alimony, and shot his son. The only reason the son survived was because a total stranger with a concealed weapon opened fire, only to be gunned down himself. The man also wounded a number of others, including at least two officers of the law.






Amazing story. Cases like this are why I support laxer gun control in Canada- criminals can get any gun they want, for a price. But to disallow citizens the means to defend themselves and others? It makes no sense to me.

Absolutely!
I can buy fully automatic waepons on the streets in any big city.
If I buy one legally I have to go through waiting periods, paperwork, background investigations and other noise just to own a popgun.
