I mean in my opinion its a christmas movie, i am not confusing anything. If your opinion is that its not a christmas movie i respect that. Lethal Weapon happens at christmas time, so its a christmas movie, again, in my opion.

LW1 is during Christmas, but has a little less ground to stand on compared to die hard. At least die hard has the concept of a man trying to visit his family, while encountering the plot as an obstacle. For that, it is in many ways a Christmas movie.
