Could it be that our reaction in 1942 caused them to come back 5 years later, after our world was done fighting to just give us the benefit of the doubt? After all if our weapons had no effect on this Phenomeon, they must have technology enough to just wipe us out without breaking a sweat. But of course they were probably a little more understanding than that. After all the world was at war on on almost all the continents.

they've been coming since the beginning of the earth. the myths about it starting with roswell or with any other 20th century incident are popularized by the media to give more weight to the debunkers who believe they are just military test aircraft.
