Wow, great response, thanks for the insight - it tallies with some of what I've suspected, though to be honest I've been in such a tangle of late that I haven't been able to see who is really in control. I had a very bizarre series of experiences in the past few days which led me to ad lib this thread in response to a comment in another thread, I was just so incensed & angry about what seemed to be (what certainly is, realistically) happening, what 'they' are doing - I just couldn't hold back! I was then rabidly attacked in a psychic sense, a situation which only just cleared around two hours ago (including horrendous nightmares) but thankfully sorted now (prayer works wonders when properly applied!), enabling me to feel more free to speak on the issues at hand..

I find it interesting that you suggest you possess anamnesis, memories of the former days of old? I also have had some very, very potent 'dreams' which I believe were actually resurgent memories of real events in a former lifetime/s. Many were so literal that I couldn't help but absolutely believe I had lived through them! One recent one only a few nights ago, I was trying to help in mounting an attack against a fortified city/facility of megaengineered proportions, and despite some apparently useful successes, I found myself being bombed out by heavy artillery. The building was filled with intense, blazing inferno firestorm, with real, terrible pain for a few seconds and then BOOM! I had lifted up & out of my destroyed body into the etheric/astral. I was so shocked by the experience that I woke instantly from sleep, and couldn't believe how real it had felt, the pain, blast pressure, and sudden uplift out of body were so fully real & accurate in as far as such sensations might occur in reality, that I couldn't do anything other than believe it was an experience I had lived through.

In another, a long time ago, I was sitting in a rustic farmer's cart being drawn by mules up a winding mountain path. I was talking with a little Asian girl, maybe ten years old. They were refugess from a catastrophic flooding of their lands, and all seemed well until suddenly I found myself caught up into the skies, lifted up by perhaps the clothing or an item of technology which provided antigravity effects, lifted perhaps a thousand feet. As I watched, I was horrified as the mountains and surrounding lands cracked apart under immense tectonic stresses, with magma welling up through the cracked earth & then the lands sank down, finally flooded over with an inrush of oceanic waters (we were near the cost) And I remember that I wasn't shocked at the technological feat of being lifted up - I was just angry - blazing anger against the one who had committed the act (for it was an act of genocide & power politics on a literal 'Death Star' planet-busting scale. And in my heart I swore revenge. I had seen the girl being swallowed up by the conflagration, and I was beside myself with rage. As I learned more about alternative takes on ancient prehistory, megalithic engineering & the possible presence of 'Others', I became convinced that I had witnessed the cataclysm which destroyed the continent of Lemuria. It was apparent that I was a member of a group that was interacting with Earth humans but was not from the same culture/genetic line. It seemed I was one of the 'Others', but that there was an ongoing war between two factions, some who hated humans, and some who did not.

These are two examples, I could list several more. I have died in my dreams on at least three occasions, and in one of the experiences found myself raised in a different sense, 'caught up' into another world, a realm of the heavens, where I was assured that I wouldn't be persecuted ever again (having been killed by a helicopter gunship that had been tasked to hunt me down in a social chaos scenario, apparently for sedition or conspiracy or somesuch trumped-up BS. I felt like there was a situation of rebellion as duty in the face of tyranny as law...) So yeah, definitely interested in hearing more if you're happy to share the info - pm me if you prefer, would be nice to have a chat about it all with someone who sees things similarly.

Hey, I thought about how best to respond and decided on a shot from the hip followed by whatever I find is relevant to that train of thought.

It's not so much one group that is in control. There is only the illusion of control and that is where their power becomes real.

There is no "they".
In any family, there are good and bad people according to any rules you set and criteria you acknowledge.

When we step out of our own selves we created, ego, we see a glimpse of something more we already were but could not realize in the physical world.

Further and farther into self-inspection, we begin to drown in the relativity of thought and all notion of meaningful direction is lost.

If we imagine a greater version of the ego that is created by a higher consciousness of thought, we see the possibility that a similar deconstruction and overcoming of this superego could be possible.

Then there also may be a greater " you" to reveal. But it's not you. It's everything " as you".

If only we knew where or to what "measure" the cycle of created selves ends. We do though. We just choose to focus on the level and state of our selves we "think" we understand.

We can't imagine that there is thought, coherent thought, from a greater intelligence that we can know and experience. That there is a state of being we can appreciate in its existence but can NOT understand.

It takes Kenosis, an emptying but not for divine grace. A clarity must be found in the empty void beyond our lives. Our minds only serve our lives. They do not serve us in traversing this void dividing our many lives, and many "minds".

We would not even want to experience this state in all honesty. There is no place for " us" there.

What's the point? That is the will needed to overcome the void and be something else.

Don't fear "possession". Loss of self. Know that there is no you there.

When we reach something that is no longer even that which remained after the deconstruction of our lives here, we then become a pattern of life.

When this pattern is expressed we reaffirm the reality we are part of.

We are real. Illusions are what we believe. Reality is what we create.

If we dream a devil, there will be a devil. If we dream a heaven, there will be a heaven. And so on.

If we lose sight of that pattern, we still create reality, but it's only the reality we believe. Not the one we know. That's where others come in and why they try to influence our will.

It's worse if what's keeping you from knowing it is your inability to know things you don't understand.

The more people that believe in this reality correlates to the reality we are all drawn to create. And the cycle is established and instantly reinforced.

When there were fewer people, less could do more. When more came into existence, the power was spread out beyond the influence of a few.

Thus the need to control the masses arose. That or reduce them. There were too many to convince or even trust with this power.

Who is right? Those that want to express this power or those that created this reality through an expression of this power?

Is their time up? Are we taking turns? Is it the age of the bull or the age of Aquarius? Who decides and makes reality?

Once there was a simple order. A few gods took turns by the zodiacs progression. Then more and more complex systems tried to cope with more and more perceived problems.

Prayers became mountains of opposing thoughts. Paradise was guilty of casting God out of Eden.

Our natural pattern of life is repeating and in harmony with a higher self. One we already are as something else entirely. Not us.

All these lives, these stories. They are cycles we reinforce.

Knowing God is becoming God. The notion seems sinful does it not? Who wants you to think this?

We become God. Not God becomes more like us. Or something of us is elevated to God-ness. No.

We stop being us and become God. A hive mind. A state of mind. A way of being we already are but do not perceive.

That is why we remember. Our pattern is strong. We have our influence on reality intact. Or at least, not as diminished.

We in Oz are all too familiar with the destructive bushfires that happen regularly here. The weather forecasters are alert to the right conditions for one to take hold and 'extreme fire danger' warnings are issued along with bans on all outdoor fires (eg campfire, bbq, outdoor industrial activity that generates sparks like welders, grinders etc) .

The majority of the population take heed of this and act accordingly but there's always a lunatic fringe element that'll see it as the perfect opportunity to head outdoors to start a fire just for their own entertainment so they can watch the chaos and revel in the destruction they cause. Sometimes they get caught but not often enough.

Of course these fires can start non-intentionally via lightning strikes, overhead conductor clashes, careless discarded cigarette butts and the like but more than 50% of the time they look to be deliberate acts of arson.

I miss these types of threads on ATS. Everything has become so over-saturated with politics these days.

Even my own personal journey to discover life got overtaken by political truths. I fell victim to the fight because there was easy evidence to follow, that people still did not comprehend to understand because the media overlords told them something different to believe.

I really do wish I knew what this force was, or who these people are. There is an obvious wave of direction applied to the masses through social media, television, movies, magazines, etc etc. I do understand the need for propaganda, otherwise nations so large would never be able to get anything done. But who gets to decide what direction we should be taking? It's obviously not any of the presidents of late. Day by day, common and naturally nice people are fighting against each other because of competing opinions on the television. People fight for some "freedom" they believe in - but the mass of information is a much more powerful force than any ability to reason as a mass group.

Sometimes I feel like I know who these people could be. Following the history of wars, the history of banks, the history of media ... at times there are many clear indications to who this group of people may be. But then you wonder, such as with the ability to debate philosophically, if there is something from beyond normal human logic that could exist to influence this world stage...

There is one thing I'm fairly confident of: "truth" is just a word us humans use. There isn't much objectivity for us when it comes to the unknown. Things like death, the before birth, God or gods, origins... these are things that there is NO such thing as "truth" for. And maybe that is why humans are so easy to manipulate. Because we have this innate need to understand what we are living. An innate need for purpose. For many people, if they have no purpose or understanding, they become depressed or even opt out of the ride. So instead, now at the loss of faith we are coming to the age of the state, and the age of the masses. This power now gets to be God, where "God" used to fill many of these needs for purpose and understanding.

So... I'm (unsurprisingly) curious as to the consensus on the adversarial "them" in this thread.

Our worthy OP has one definition based on the legion of "spirity" a-holes mentioned by various religions as our primary nemesis, besides the enemies we see in our mirrors every day, that is.

I waiver between many ideas as to what "they" are .. .namely shades (tulpas) drawn into existence via beliefs by sentient creatures, or a strange fraternity of hostile spirits/extra dimensional denizens and/or a dark brotherhood of humans with elite information, or the more agreed upon mundane humans who's elite knowledge is more concerned with insider trading information.

I'm not sure there can be any coherent discussion until terms are defined.

As to the comment re: the TRUTH being dark and horrid, I'm pretty sure that's true, but wonder how much is based on perspective.

Definitions are hard until you actually get one of the "them" pinned against the wall in front of you where you can make the "them" "talk". Fat chance of that to begin with. And secondly; does one presume "they" are a coherent "whole". A single hierarchial power structure? Or lots of power structures?

Dunno for sure myself, however I tend to lean towards the "lots of independent groups if "thems". With a few loners thrown in too.

I sorta think that way because the word "occult" just means "hidden", and suggests "secret".

The basis of that might be this:

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

One can look at that as meaning;

Knowledge is not power, ignorance is power.

That is other people's ingnorance.

If one were to live by that philosophy of secret knowledge we might get a society ruled by people that know stuff and don't share. Very controlling with just the "initiates" having all the power.

There would be no "central control" necessary in such a society. Just lots of people forming groups who are in the know who may or may not form alliances according to the desired outcome.

It wouldn't matter how many you destroy, you would never win until you destroyed the secrecy by bringing out into the open the advantage "they" enjoy.

Since the day I wrote the thread I came to realise that what you have indicated above is most likely the true state of affairs. I had imagined a singular hierarchical power taking total control over the darkest of affairs... But I was surprisingly deeply affected at the time by a heavy blanket of oppression in my personal life, which came to a head the night after I wrote this OP. My energy & statements were past the pale of my often-times strategic fence-sitting, I was just angry. But the dreams I had that night were the most abhorrent I'd experienced in a long time, with an absolutely definite sense that 'something' was attacking me for the stance I had made, and perhaps more certainly in terms of motive, for 'daring' to ask the question & open the floor to speculations & discussions in a public forum. I don't think 'they' like it when attention is placed anywhere in their vicinity. It's like shining a torch into the eyes of a giant, intelligent rat - an intelligent KING rat, with big intelligent rat friends that suddenly leap on you & start trying to tear you to shreds for daring to attack their bigly awesome rat king.

The analogy got away from me somewhat there, but the point I wanted to make in this post is that I do perceive a 'court of the dark mage', wherein a rivalry of factional posturing & sniping to assert control over the hierarchy takes place a shade away from the reality we know & walk each day. I think 'they' have the ability to walk in this world in a variety of ways, whereas we are generaly quite limited, in our ordinary bumbling selves. Those among us who are 'the elite' seem to have a similar factional infighting ("The king is dead, long live the king!") and these factions swell into supranational shadow governments & secret societies. I believe that the murderous 'Acosmic Satanists' are behind events such as the destruction of Paradise in the Cali fires, the LA shootings at the Route 91 Harvest festival. and many more, including, I believe, the Grenfell Tower disaster ( a very suspicious individual was seen to enter his flat, then soon after exit, with the witness thereafter observing smoke coming from under his door, with his 'refrigerator' later being confirmed as the likely source of the fire. He had in fact phoned police saying he thought 'maybe' his faulty fridge had been to blame for the fire. However, he had been seen to deposit a heavy bag in his apartment just before the fire started..) It seems, in addition to the scandalous way it was handled after, this event was a dark sacrfice.

The Acosmic Satanists are also, I believe, the ones responsible for many of the really dark mind control shooting situations, including that one which cannot be named on ATS, which was the weirdest, and most potentially horrifying, when looking at that weirdness & weighing up the implications. Lots of hypnosis involved in those things.

Imagine someone who has "done things." suspicion rises around this person, likely nothing more than off the cuff coments. Like explaining detailed information that could only be known through experience. Suddenly an investigation starts. All forms of putting pressure on the individual to talk come about. Loss of job, loss of vehicular travel, rumors spread around to family and friends, all the tenants of the apartment complex get pushed out and replaced with people who make random comments about information that has to do with the investigation, every resturant you vist gets new faces you have never seen who also drop cryptic phrases and food quality drops dramatically, local emergency services personal start to follow everywhere you go, and a whole slew of other pressure inducing stimuli.

Plot twist, this person in question is a mind control project yet no one used to exert pressure knows. All they know is he is under investigation and has been deemed a threat. The people used are compartmentalized and ideaolgies are weaponized and orders sent out. These people THINK they are helping to rid this dangerous person from their community but are in fact being used to further the cover up.

So a them definition is hard to pin down when ignorance is weaponized. Because in their heart of hearts they are acting on behalf of good but in truth are being used.

This is how it is done, the bad people are helped to carry out their acts and the victims or idealogical types are empowered to right the wrongs. This is how you control without anyone really knowing the truth. The cia once said that they will have won total control when no one knows the truth. However the CIA is an American institution and is very young. Compare the Church of Rome for instance. The CIA is also focused on certain areas of concern to it. It may desire to control the world, yet it has competition in the Church.

Not a new thing, true but not quite clear cut.

For example; during the iraq war the military used a new technilogical weapon they dubbed the voice of god. Many enemy combatants put their weapons down and surrendered. Why? Because the voice of allah told them to, and im quite sure a little cocktail of euphoria inducing frequencies were also thrown in.

Same tactics but a whole new field of capability when mind control tech is thrown in. Yet the majority of americans dont connect the two when they hear a story plastered across their news screen about how a man decapitates his wifes head because god told him to. This tech is so slick that most wont question why out of the blue they become enraged over nothing.

They dont connect when racial fights break out in the street as if something is feeding it, all the while an entire police squad stand by and do nothing.

The beauty of this tech is psychology has been weaponized for plausable deniability purposes. Hows that for slick and unprovable?

Notice how people seem to be over emotional in todays state of affairs? Like i said, most dont want the real truth. Do you see the glaring hegalian dialectics at play? Both sides are empowered and pushed so far that the issue becomes unsolvable...except for the only solution. Everyone gives up everything.

Psychotronics isn't just the domain of a certain organisation though. I found a reference in passing that stuck in my mind. It was in a forum and someone made an interesting statement.

I can’t give any comment on the original aspects of the thread about the fires in Paradise Cali as I’m thousands of miles away and have absolutely zero experience of anything like that.

I have found deep interest and resonation with other ideas and thesis put forward in this thread.

I would just like to add that one group that has serious power and influence over the masses (I don’t think they’ve been mentioned here yet) through the use of current media technologies and platforms is the ‘celebrity group’.....

Yes they are probably controlled themselves within or by other factions but the role of celebrity status has been around for centuries it’s just a more effective and affective tool in this modern era.
