Black Friday 2018: Tennessee, Arkansas most dangerous states for shopping, survey says
Here are the states with the highest risk of Black Friday violence:
Arkansas
Tennessee
West Virginia
North Carolina
Alabama
...
That study held true Thursday, as shootings were reported in Hoover, Alabama, and Memphis, Tennessee.

GUNFIRE?!?!?!?

Black Friday is possibly the most shameful symbol of US consumerism in my opinion.
Wal-mart bought a major UK supermarket chain and tried to bring the stupid black Friday thing here but thankfully British people haven't really bought into it so much.

Glad I'm drinking sake here in Iwakuni, Japan.

Also these things work best when related to national holidays, when people have free time.
For England, that means Boxing Day, Easter Monday, and so on.

I had to do a triple take on the second video.

Yes, and it can be as bad here on Boxing Day, I've seen people queueing at 2am ready for the sales while I've been walking home from a Christmas party.
Consumerism madness I tell thee!

Over hyped BS. You can find stuff like this any day of the year. The media just plays it up on this particular day. All of this started when Walmart wouldn't bow down to the unions.

According to reports, the situation in Memphis was even dumber (as if that's possible) than who bumped who in line. It is reported that a fight ensued after a man looked/glanced at a woman, who was described as being attractive, and was accompanied by another man. The man who looked at her was subsequently followed outside and beaten, then shot. Presumably by the escort of the woman.

I'm all for a good deal, but there is no way I'm going out in that. I know for a fact I would lamp someone if they tried to push me.
Humans and their material goods. What a world.

We all go through this every year.
Same story, same BS from the herd of consumers.

The disgusting behavior will never correct itself as long as we keep making it something valuable. I used to judge the participants every year but now I just roll my eyes.

There are so many other things this nation should concern itself with, yet droves of people trample each other for the latest and greatest junk.

I'll never understand the lure.

I don't shop on Black Friday.

I drink and eat and practice cool disco moves because you never know when disco is coming back into style.

I watch tv, and question my existence philosophically.

I write angry letters to companies who's products I've never owned so they will send me free things.

I play the harmonica in the street in front of my house so Gunther can collect nickels.

I do plenty on Black Friday.

BUT I DO NOT SHOP!

Proof that the patriarchy is still toxic in places.
I have never gone shopping on black friday.
More fun to stay home and watch videos of everyone freezing then getting battered by shoppers.
