May I ask where you find this information? I am curious to find out a little more history about my Fraternity, Sigma Chi. Mostly stuff that wouldn't be in the norman shield or something that isn't well known. I am also curious to see if the information you do have is in fact correct. Let me know.

Like I said tho, I really only want stuff about Sigma Chi I am not into the whole stealing rituals from other Fraternities.

Thanks

I really hope that you are not going out trying to find other Fraternities' rituals. That would dissappoint many if not all greek members out there.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I've been a collector of fraternal rituals for almost 20 years. I don't post any so-called "secrets" about anyone's ritual, nor do I discuss them with non-members, except for a tight circle of friends who also studies fraternal rituals.

My main area of interest is Freemasonry and other non-college organizations, but I have several dozen Greek-Letter fraternity/sorority rituals. Have had for years.

Thanks for your interest.

Senrak,

I've been a fraternity ritual collector for about 6 years now. I've been looking for a few which include WWW Fraternity and the Mystical 7. If you have any insights to this, please let me know.

Zauberer,

I have the text of WWW and some manuscript documents of Mystic 7, but what I have is very limited.

My primary interest isn't Greek-Letter or College societies, although admittedly I do have most of the main-line Greek Letter Organization rituals; my main focus is Masonic and related groups as well as those influenced by Freemasonry.

I have the Zeta Psi Initiation ceremony, but I haven't read it yet.

I've not heard of Phi Sigma Kappa, though, or at least I didn't find any info on it in my collection.

you guys are searching in the wrong place. If you are a Kappa Sigma then You know what the Greek letters of KS stand for. You know what book that came from. Start your search there. It will enlighten you with great knowledge and a walk that is much larger than how the order came to be in the U.S.

pdukie,

I didn't "come by them" at all. I traded them from other serious ritual collectors who are interested in learning about the development of various fraternal societies, rather than being interested in exposing the supposed "secrets" of those organizations.

I am a member of Beta Theta Pi at Ole Miss. We are also the Temple of The Star( which is part of the mystic 7). Temple of the Star - University of Mississippi - 1848-1878. We merged with Beta Theta Pi in 1879 so our ritual was strong for very long in our chapter. In recent history some of our ritual has been taken and i'm trying to track it down to share it with the rest of the chapter. I've done a huge bit of research myself and retreived a good bit of information, but always searching for more. You can contact me using my university email [email protected] with information on the mystic 7.

As a side note to my chapter and the mystic seven we have recently been named a Mississippi state landmark as being one of the oldest frats on campus because of the mystic 7. Our landmark goes on to say how we predate greek life here because of our merger with Beta Theta Pi.
