Not modern troll's but in Norway they have an area called Trollheim or Home of the troll's, this is an ancient name and there are many idea's about were it come's from but Troll's - the mythical type - feature heavily in pre-christian Nordic folklore.
Of course since the Rus were also Nordic that would likely mean they also believed in Troll's - today the new belief is that all the world's leaders are lizard people and hey it might just be right - at a psychological level anyway.
