House Judiciary Chairman Robert Goodlatte has notified colleagues that he will subpoena Comey for a closed-door deposition Nov. 29 and Lynch for Dec. 5, according to a person familiar with the subpoenas. The person declined to be identified because they were not authorized to speak publicly. The subpoenas are part of a Republican investigation into decisions made by the department during the 2016 election.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Tuesday said he would “totally” look into the FBI’s handling of its investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails if he becomes chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. “The oversight function will be very much front and center,” Graham said in an appearance on CNN.
“House Republicans can ask me anything they want but I want the American people to watch, so let’s have a public hearing. Truth is best served by transparency. Let me know when is convenient,” Comey tweeted Friday.
I hope his deposition stays behind closed doors.

Thank gawd, what he wants is irrelevant. I hope his deposition stays behind closed doors. I think his Twitter post was a plea to have a chance to grandstand in front of the cameras. He loves to hear himself talk and bloviate and wax philosophical.

Yeah. That way the Republicans can say only what they want to say about it.
For a month or so.

Both sides pull that sh!t, so throwing out that watered down rhetoric does no one any good.

Where has it been confirmed 53-47? Still seeing 51-47 with 2 to close to call.

As it goes, that is senators elect. Dems might be trying hard
to change the numbers with all kinds of shenanigans, however
they may not succeed as they are under close watch.

Assange may make a deal, too, if the US ever get their hands on him. Maybe it has already been made. Are the 50,000+ sealed indictments real with 10,000 of those in California?
I expect that we will find out soon. Buy popcorn.
