Watch this and marvel at the potential we have:

"We?" As in "you and I and pretty much everybody?"

Some people, a few people, are extraordinary. Not all of us.

But is that not in the eye of the beholder?

I know quite a few extraordinary people who would never consider themselves as such.

Which is extraordinary in itself.

No, never give up.

Sigh and face palm sure, but never give up.

There was one from long ago that would disagree with you. I believe he was crucified.

Not trying to argue with you. Maybe some perspective is in need here. I believe its a choice every one of us has to make. IMO to be extraordinary is to be a good person. This includes being a good father, husband, son, daughter, and friend. It is very rare but everyone has the ability if they can think on that level. The key to this formula is self respect and a lot of people dont seem to understand what that is. Evidence is all the satanic self deception and degradation we see promoted throughout our national culture and throughout the world.

Problem is everyone is all too williing to sell their souls for personal materialistic gain. There is very little interest in the big picture of things.

Giving up the fight for good is giving up on life. End result is either suicide or you walk around an empty souless vessel waiting to die.

Hope for what? Winning the lottery? Being rich? If so you deserve misery. I revel in my grandbabies and the crap they come up with!

Yes There is a lot potential , but It's getting darker every day. I'm afraid humanity is at the end of it's road. Yes i've given up hope , Kim peak can't change that.

Not completely, No. Although i often feel myself very close to it. I just wanna get off this rock, outa this Prison Planet. I really do not see a feasible future for the human race. There is too much lack of empathy, integrity, decency, kindness, valor+bravery, too much lack of good old fasioned Moxie to tell the truth, so much lack of all it takes to keep a successful planet running.

No, it appears the species of man has not peaked at it's performance level in mass yet.
Once those responsible for holding back humanity cannot any longer the species will Excel...

I don't have too much going for me right now but I keep plugging. Who knows what the future holds. Anyone's future could turn at the drop of a hat. Bad to good or even good to bad, nothing's for certain.

Sounds like you need to step away from screens for awhile and get out and meet some real people, they're everywhere.
And they have plenty of those qualities that for some reason you believe are lacking.
Its easy to have a negative opinion of people if the only place you get your info from is the media, apparently "if it bleeds it leads" so they're not interested in showing all the goodness happening every moment of every day.

If we all give up were gone, like pandas.

The great mother makes it difficult because that's how we rise.
We are all.

Hope is relative to ones life experience.
It can be extremely dangerous and should not be handled by the feeble minded.

It’s good to live with hope, but it needs to be realistical, otherwise hopes & dreams = dashed on the rocks of reality.

Me? I live with no expectations, never disappointed, each mistake is a lesson and the universe tends to reward in unexpected ways. Expect nothing and recieve

But hope? Hope for what exactly? I don’t need much, but I hope my fellow mans circumstances improve...

So that his hope is justified.
