Why are the dreams and predictions forum in conspiracy and not off-topic?

Under the forums tab is the off-topic category. This category includes things like cooking, rants, general off topic etc, etc.

The exception is the Dreams and Predictions forum subject area. That one alone is in conspiracy.

Why?

I really don't care, just very curious.

Thank you.

Conspiracies are spooky.

Dreams and predictions are spooky.

Recipes are not spooky.

It's Predictions and Prophesies that is not in BTS. Dreams & Predictions is in BTS.

The conspiracy one is to discuss the reality or myth of that stuff and those who claim to have gifts. The other is for your own dreams or predictions. They are in the right place.

There's forum categories? I don't think i've ever payed attention to the different ones. They all just show up on one page in different groups on the forums page. I've never really noticed the headings above the groups.

Do they really mean anything at all?

One advantage; if "Dreams and Predictions" and "Predictions and Prophecies" are visible on the same page, there is a slightly better possibility that the poster will choose the right one.
(We don't see the instructions any more, but users' own predictions were originally intended to go in "Dreams", while the second one was designated for discussions of "published" prophecy- e.g. Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, Revelation, etc.)
