They should be talking with the Democratic Senate minority leader...Schumer, and his minority whip flunky, Dick Durban. They might actually be able to do something to get legislation passed through the Senate.

Unlikely, true, but they'd likely have more luck than even the Speaker. Assuming she remains such.
