They did a good cover but they're still in "pop" mix mode. The drums and bass are too high in the mix, vocals and guitar are too much in the back. If they want to do a real metal cover, the guitar would be more up front and the snare would be higher in the mix. All in all it's just post production stuff that should have been ironed out.

Agreed. The band doesn't make a song metal. It takes all involved and the singer clearly failed on this one.
