That’s nothing!

For two days in a row here in rural Pennsylvania I woke up to....

It's coming here as well. Although we don't get horrible winters generally and more than a few inches of snow is quite rare and it melts off quickly there was a few years back that we had a terrible ice storm and folks were without power for weeks. The major TVA lines coming into the county went down.

We had our coldest night so far last night and the cold...I'm dreading another year of the cold. When I was young, I would run outside and get firewood barefoot with snow on the ground. Getting older sucks as you are less and less able to tolerate the cold.

Nothing left to do but

I'm not going out there!

Hey, it's the middle of November in Kansas City and I've got some snow on my patio from Thursday evening still. MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER.

Teikiatsu gets to work from home on select days, so he gets to say that a lot.

Me? My company's CEO is one of those I walked to school uphill through 50 feet of snow both ways in subzero temps and hurricane force winds, and I came in today with my champion Iditarod sled team ... so you can come in today too, types. That pretty much means I can't do that.

A snowman indeed. Whats wrong with a snowwoman (obviously if you make her breasts too big that would be sexist) or a snow transgender. Also snows white so that's racist. And don't use a carrot for a nose as that will offend vegetarians.
