Well, slippery slope here. Today I got called a communist because I said that there is enough food on earth so no one has to starve.
But somehow that acknowledgement makes me a communist. So be careful with the labeling.

OK, so what's your solution to steer people away from communism?
I live in Canada, and get called a communist all the time because we have progressive socialist programs set in place.
Thing is, communism isn't the same as socialism, one is a form of government, which would never happen in the states, and one is simply a myriad of political and economic ideas, that generally co-exists comfortably with a capitalist market.
But it seems you are anti - socialism as well, taking down about unions and what not. Workers rights are a huge deal, take them away, take away unions, and it will lead markets like China.

There is no reason to differentiate the two.
Simply because communism and socialism are different paths to the same place.
A tyrannical form of government with an all-powerful reach into people's lives.
I wish people could just look at history and understand that.

Ah, see, that’s the thing that gets me.
The second folks talk about Anything like “maybe if we use our vast numbers to pool resources on this one thing where it makes sense to do that, and make life better” the Right makes a panicked leap to the Communist Apocalypse.
What the heck is the Military then? A “free enterprise” Mercenary group? (I bet Erik Prince wishes it was...)
Collective Security is at the heart of the right’s Nationalist leanings.
All it takes is an understanding that Collective Security can co-exist with Capitalism, and then maybe we can talk, but until then the reactionary stance of “Communism!” gets thrown around without a rational basis for it.
The US is not going to become a Communist country. Period.
What is the difference between Socialism and Communism?
Socialism and communism are alike in that both are systems of production for use based on public ownership of the means of production and centralized planning. Socialism grows directly out of capitalism; it is the first form of the new society. Communism is a further development or higher stage of socialism.

Your comment from a political and social standpoint makes absolutely no sense.
Not just communism and socialist platforms are the ones digging into peoples lives, or controlling them. You are using a very, no massive broad paint brush here.
