It's all about the puppies. Always was.

I've come to the conclusion that all of my issues are due to someone else's influence over me.

I was just at the Cincinnati Zoo and my wife was incredulously asking, 'Why you trying to bash that gorilla over the head with an oversize mallet' and I'm all like, 'Video games, woman, video games'.

Allow trained teachers to CCW if they choose to, and having armed guards at school wouldn't hurt!

I just wonder how people can deny the fact its so easy to get hands on a guns.. and so many americans own guns.
That leaves room for more people that do not know how to store guns and ammo, and kids figure out fast how to get their hands on those to.

Reduce the number of gun owners would help.. perhaps more education is needed with test one need to pass.. a harder one.
And then have to past a new test every half year. and allow inspectors to come unannounced to check up on gun owners house to see if its store correctly.

Either just ban guns from the public like the rest of the world

Or lock the doors and nobody comes in or out without proper authority. I have this at my work place. Nobody gets in without I.D. If they don't have it, they stand in the rain, simple as that.

Sure I agree that if you want gun free zones, it should be guaranteed gun free! Controlled entrances with metal detectors, armed guards and gun storage lockers for legal carriers to store their weapons before entering(ex. Courthouses) . Short of this "Gun Free" Zones should be illegal!

You sound like Tipper Gore. Is heavy metal going to make me worship the Devil or playing video games make me into a mass murderer too?

I thought that was the result of being a mason...isn't that why you joined?

That's what I said!!!!!!

No one got it, not her, not the zoo workers and definitely not the police. But I'll tell you who got it, the monkey! Right up side the head, now they're down another one.

Seriously, does anyone take responsibility for their actions or does it always have to be someone else's fault that you're a major malfunction in life?

I did. Not a fan of listening to heavy metal so this was a short cut to meeting Lucifer.

It also gave me an excuse not to be responsible for my own actions so when I go on a murderous rampage I have a fall back scapegoat to blame my sociopathic actions on.

There have been at least 288 school shootings in the United States since January 1, 2009.
That's 57 times as many shootings as the other six G7 countries combined.

Perhaps its time to do something.. I wonder how americans feel by sending their kids at school, I would be very paranoid.

Because the other countries aren't ninnies. They still believe in discipline, they still believe in letting children stand up to bullies, they still teach their children that bullies never win and more likely than not, you'll be their boss one day, they still teach their children how to overcome a bully, and most of all, they don't investigate someone with a mental illness for months and then clear them. America's education system, and lots of parents, have been playing to feelings for over a decade now. Spoiling children, letting them get away with what they want, and if schools do try to say something, the parent of the kid gets mad and throws a hissy fit.

If the amount of guns were the real issue, there would be multiple mass shootings every day. I'm more concerned with why someone thought that killing a bunch of people you don't know will somehow solve your problems. This is a real issue and it needs to stop, but until we honestly look at the entire situation, we will just continue the circle jerk that is "gun control", "from my cold dead hands", and on, and on.

Once this can be an issue and not a Political issue, I think we can move forward.

We are watching the result of decades of programming by the entertainment industry, along with Hollywood and the CIA, whom made a system where people feel miserable for who they are or what they look like.

Is it Dungeons & Dragons that you're playing on the 1985 NES or listening to Judas Priest backerds?

I think we need to look at why other countries aren't loading up their citizens with psychotropic drugs.

For anyone who's travelled outside the country and watched TV while away you wont be seeing drug ads by the boatload telling you to take a pill and feel better while also experiencing nausea, vomitting, anal leakage, suicidal ideation, menopause, lessions, dizziness, irregular heartbeat and homicidal tendencies.

At what point do you say "enough is enough" and everybody in America, and I do mean Everybody comes together to end the senseless slaughter of innocents?

Ok, I'm in! Now, how to accomplish the goal? Since it is self-evident that outlawing guns not only is silly, it would never work.

Best way I can think of: provide a considerable bump in pay to any teachers/staff willing to conceal carry as long as they go through some rigorous and ongoing training on active shooter situations in their environment.

Then, of course, try to find effective was to treat the source of the problem... people.

Clean up our food supply and promote healthy wholesome eating habits focusing on whole foods preferably freshly and locally grown. And how about even requiring the FDA to actually do their intended job and get the chemicals (especially the hormone mimickers) and garbage out of our commercially mass produced food supply.
