Record insurance company profits in conjunction with pharmaceuticals would say that is NOT where your tax dollars are going.

When they first through liberal progressive struggle got unemployment insurance, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid there was a battle against that as well, but now these are universally accepted programs.
Sure we need to make them better but social progress has been made. Sure, not fast enough for us but were at least going forward.
