We know there are more parties. We know that it's largely about money. Is there a way to ever change this? How?

The way the US system is set up, it takes (I believe) a 5% support nationally, to have financial and logistical support for a party.

Vote for people the establishment doesnt like.

Like trump or bernie.

And yeah, maybe that will be a miss.

But its the only hope we have seeing as how the establishment people on both sides are the same party.

We had a chance with trump, but just listen to the establishment media; he is hitler!

I mean, not wanting a regime change war in syria or a cold war with russia, thats unacceptable!

So back to voting for the establishment types to reign him in, all the while thinking we are fighting the power.

Since the Citizen's United ruling the Federal Reserve (a private corporation) can print any amount of money to ensure candidates they prefer have enough money to buy TV advertising.

No.

Imagine the unlimited powers and resources of the few people determined to keep the gilded cage system in place...

Do you think they would ever allow for there to be a way to change it?

Perhaps the biggest scam Trump pulled... convincing people that he isn't the establishment.
Perhaps the other biggest scam... convincing white males that they are victims.
But I digress... Trump not the establishment?... ooooooo-k.

If trump is establishment, why is over 90 percent of the establishment media constantly against him?

Why do even establishment people on his own party go against him?

To make him look like an outsider to a certain segment of the population. Trump is the catalyst for the polarization of our society, if we fight each other we lose sight of the true enemy. Who/what is it that we fight with each other over? Trump. He is their trump card. Look at how many people are believing in the system again, that's what they want. Look at how many people have bought into the left/right paradigm.

There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.

This was said by John Adams. We are seeing his greatest fear play out in today's political theater, maybe moreso than ever before.

I know I'm on the outside looking in but this here just sort of sums it all up; it's always the other sides fault.....regardless of left or right, Republican or Democrat.

It's not really unique to the US, but at present there just seems to be a complete unwillingness to compromise or even consider opposing or different opinions to one's already held or which are aligned to a specific ideological viewpoint.

Because 90% is "liberal" media, and this is partisan politics.

Name some names.

There is no way to change this as we have first past the post.

What I'd like to see change is lobbying and people enriching themselves by holding office.

Look i mostly agree and also decried the two party system as basically one party at the establishment level

But it is clear that the establishment does not like trump

That doesn’t mean he will turn out to be great, but they certainly didn’t and continue to not want him

It is an oversimplification I’m my opinion to just say everyone who ever gets any lower is merely a tool of the establishment

What is the solution then if voting for perceived outsider like trump is just backing the establishment?

Vote third party only?

Wel I will just say any third party that wins is also part of dark electioneering controlled by the establishment

And so what are we left with?

Total apathy and nihilism

I like your WWE analogy, because that's what the whole Republican/Democrat show is, staged theatrics that people think are real and even when they find out it isn't they keep cheering for their performer.
