It's always very telling to see what inspires people to take action.

It was #metoo related issues. It wasn't over China, subversion, censorship, etc.

Google Walkout

Google employees around the globe are taking part in a mass walkout on Thursday to protest the company's protection of a former executive who has been accused of sexual misconduct. The Google protest, which has been dubbed the 'Walkout For Real Change,' is scheduled for Thursday at 11.10am local time across the globe, one week after sexual assault allegations against creator of its Android software, Andy Rubin, were first reported by the New York Times.

Well, nobody knew about it until recently when it was revealed he received a 90 million dollar severance package. That's after he was let go for sexual misconduct. Apparently they are upset that the difference in treatment.

Employees sure are getting uppity these days. Is it any wonder business is rushing toward automation and robots as well as outsourcing to places like India. Wasn't it Google employees that were upset over military contracts, didn't want A.I. in war machines.

The MIC has deep pockets and if you play along your executives and shareholders will get rich. Someone will always be there to take their money and build what ever ridiculous or terrifying systems they want. All the employee grandstanding just means the company gets less money.

Go back to your cubical Dilbert.

Looking at the photo in the OP.

Google clearly also have a problem with ageism too. The whole workforce looks under 30. But these youngsters don't see that as a problem. Tut.
