Did you even read my whole post I dont trust either side ... So many get wound up tight on this stuff its absolutely crazy. The federal government isnt near as impactful as your local government, even then I live in a democratic area and dont feel oppressed or hindered in anyway even though I lean right mostly, I lean left on some issues too, how you look at life is up to you not some azzhat in DC or even your local rep. Until lobbying and pandering to special interest groups on both sides ends its better to have a good mixture of left and right so they can't do any real damage. Its not ideal but it is what it is. So not as nearly brainwashed as you ascertained, neither left or the right is 100 percent correct

There is a really good book about how the education system trains children to become compliant human recourses to be used by government and industry.

It's called. "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America". And it is really happening.
