She did claim that, or at least her lawyer did. After it was pointed out that Ford had in fact flown all over the world, they stopped saying this.

I know, just had to make the joke...lol.

No, pretty clear to me that the frat boy showed his rapeyness to the country. But what can you do? He is in the rich boys club. Rape is part of their thing. Seems like trump is into it also.

Pretty clear to me you're retarded. How did he show his rapeyness?

He is clearly an angry alcoholic. Drunks can't restrain themselves. Most rapes are associated with alcohol or drugs. Drunky frat boy most likely did a few attempted rapes in his time. Are you ok with rich frat boys raping and getting away with it?

Bit of a drift and for that my sincere apologies to the OP

Could you (klondike) please provide scientific evidence (links) regarding your comment on how most rapes are associated with drugs and/or alcohol?

Please dont forget to provide evidence from India and muslim countries where raping women is basically an every day occurence...

Looking forward to your arguement...

Jesus, and people said I was delusional...you are equating two things that in some instances make sense. However in the majority of instances, it does not because the world is not simply black and white.

Good for her. Maybe that is payback for almost being raped.

Perhaps someone tried to at some point. But it wasn't Kavenaugh. Literally not one person could testify that the two of them ever even met, let alone attended a party together.

Do you have any proof of any kind or are you just slinging mud to see what sticks?

*Honesty is the best policy*? You must be forgetting how credible she is. You don't believe this brave survivor? Are you a violent, drunken monster? Of course we must believe her. She is a woman, isn't she?

I too am a woman and have every sympathy with women who have suffered

any type of sexual degradation....

Personally I think her performance was over credible, her performance out

shone her memory.

IF her experience had been as traumatic as she stated she would have remembered

every last detail.

Just my personal opinion from experience.

I will buy a copy. Which section will it be in though? Fiction or Self-help?

She will need it.

She does not even realize what kind of danger she put herself in by testifying. And it's not just now, someone may wait a year or two and hurt her and her family then. No amount of money can make up for exposing herself to the worst of the worst on the extreme right.

She may get bombs sent to her, she may get followed, she and her family may have to move and so on.

The money MAY cover hiring security for a couple of years, perhaps change a house and an address, but she will NEVER have the peace she and her family once had. NEVER.

I would not trade that for ANY amount of money.

Why? Its completely irrelevant to the Kavannaugh case.

Only replying as the link between excessive drinking and rape is pretty much a known issue. (at least here in the US).

Personally, I do think she suffered some kind of assault at some point.

However, and this is a very important point....her total lack of recall, and lack of any supporting evidence (not even ONE of the potential folks she mentioned, could corroborate her story), makes it impossible to connect this ordeal with Kavannaugh.

Forget the legal aspect of it being way past statute, etc. Just from a common sense perspective, not one person can put her and Kavannaugh together here.

Now add in the obvious political timing, of this event that allegedly happened over 30 years ago....and its just ridiculous.

This is the hard part. I want to sympathize with her as a victim, and I do, but at the same time, it's obvious she really doesn't remember the details and is being directed to pin it on this person for political gain. This deception basically negates the empathy, and she just came off as another political shill. Not to even mention how disgusting of a tactic it was in the first place. I don't blame Ford near as much as I blame Feinstein for all of this nonsense.

Thanks for these links. The poster said Kavannaugh attempted the rape because he is a drunk alcoholic. Your third link mentions that while alcohol use can increase this behaviour it is not the reason, otherwise every time the individual gets drunk he would try to do the same, rape someone which is not the case with Kav...

That's how you know that the right person was picked to be an the Supreme Court.

Democrats seem to be pushing book offers to bribe people to slam the Republicans. It is perfectly legal. I do not believe Ford, she seems to be a con in this matter, now she will be getting rich for causing chaos with twisted truths. Nobody is even backing her up, the few people she said were there say they do not know what she is talking about.

Book deals are a great way to launder money to a person or source. You get a dollar figure for just agreeing to write a book, and if you continue to appease the people that offered you the money to do whatever, then you can have a lot of "people" buying you book for large installments of cash. On the flip side some real people might even buy the book out of curiosity.

You've got to wonder what exactly is going to be in the book. I mean when she testified she only had what I'll call twig memories, things that under closer examination fell apart, she couldn't remember where, when, who was there, changed her minds, changed her story, I mean seriously what the heck is she going to write about? Unless of course it would be great if it was a tell all a reveal of how she was approached by a democrat or something forcing her to twist and lie about things now that would be a book I'd buy.

But yeah seriously what the heck will fill the pages?

You been living in my head?
You spelled it out much better than I could, I agree she probably was assaulted at some point, and the DNC took advantage of her instability in this area.
