So if Carolyne Cass actually comes forward and says she was sexually assaulted by Mueller you'll stop nitpicking over minor details?

Minor details like her being a real person? Wouldn't that be someplace to start? Or minor details like a fake website, offers to pay people to make up stories or a "docusigned" statement...not even a person's signature?

Straight-up this thread is page after page of "details" and all of them are ridiculous .

Or will you just do what those on the Right did with Ford and try to discredit her because she doesn't have an eidetic memory?

For effs sake WHO? There is no woman who has come forward.

ETA: You may want to familiarize yourself with my posting history.

No thank you. One thread of crazy from you is enough for me.

And with that you've pretty much supported every complaint the Right has about the Left. Good job!

AND...The "Statement" was Docusigned aka click and sign by a computer, not even anyone's real signature.

Oh dear Lord... That's worse than sloppy. Burkman and Wohl are not looking good -- and it's their own fault.

Boadicea actually found that the St Regis was renovated, but couldn't tell you WHAT was renovated in the hotel. Granted, all articles I found on the renovations talked about what was renovated, but some how Boadicea couldn't figure it out. Too comical!

You are incorrect, Boadicea found that a state-of-the-art fitness center was 'reintroduced' in 2013 here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

The question remains, what was there before 2013? What do they mean by reintroduced?

EDIT

Nevermind, I guess this post answers that:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

You are right and I was wrong. To Boadicea, I apologize and I didn't do my due diligence in regards to the 19th floor.

For the conspiratorial minded, there actually are rooms on the 19th floor (Trip advisor review from June 27th, 2016).

Yeah it doesn't look good - my own opinion is to wait and see if this woman is real and if charges are actually filed.

It was a fitness center dude

Sure about that? Sure it wasn't in the basement?

I responded a few posts up and apologized. You were right and my google finger was broke.

Doesn’t change the flimsiness of the accusation (or lack thereof), but opens the possibility.

It's all good, Geech

I've been having a real tough time nailing it down. But I did just find this from 2014 in a blog review of the hotel:

To work off the Red Snapper and pastry basket, the hotel also has a gym in the basement. Apparently this is just temporary, as they’re in the process of opening the main one at the top of the hotel, which will be more spacious.

Source

And this from 2017:

The new gym is poorly equipped unless you’re a jogger. The old gym in the basement was a little odd, but had more to work with.

I try to keep it just open enough, but not so much that my brain would fall out. It's not like Robert Mueller is not capable of sexual assault or anything.

Just that the circumstances surrounding this, and the two clowns who brought this forward, seem to be some of the least credible people out there.

I know some want to compare this to the Kavanaugh thing, and sure if you're not nuanced it is similar. Unfortunately, things aren't black and white and the situations aren't apples to apples.

IF, and this is probably the biggest if ever, but if these "allegations" (nobody has come forward yet) are true and can be corroborated, then Mueller deserves as much jail time as anybody else guilty of this crime is.

I just would have to take a huge leap of faith that the 2 Mensa Members, Wohl and Burkman, know what they're doing. Sorry, but I can't take that leap with those 2. That's just me though.

I am definitely right there with you - apparently Gatewaypundit has "suspended their relationship" with Wohl just today...

I'm only checking in on this to see if a real woman name Carolyne Cass comes forward and / or if she actually files charges in NYC.

At this point too, Mueller probably has enough to go after them or her for slander / libel if they don't file a police report... I mean, the accusation in the press conference and written report was full on rape!

One nagging thing - I am amazed that a "MAGA-type" like Wohl would be so stupid to try and pull this off right before mid-terms, but I think it was the Ringling Brothers who said something like, 'never underestimate the stupidity of the average person' or something...

I think we're pretty much on the same page. This has been crazy from the gitgo. Burkman and Wohl have handled this like bumbling idiots. And nothing has been confirmed except that much cannot be confirmed.

So now I wonder who set them up? Or was this their own creation? And for what end game? How are Burkman and Wohl benefit?

The 1st reporter I read on the situation said when he got the messages last week of someone trying to pay a woman (I think "Lorraine") that he felt this was a setup in order to discredit news organizations so he didn't spread it until Buckman made his pronouncement.

After watching the presser today, it seems to me like that's all this was.

Burkman and Wohl seemed dead set on going "See, this Lorraine person isn't real. See, the person who offered to paid Taub isn't real. The news is running and reporting on fake people".

Burkman is and always was a hack, Wohl is an idiot kid (to be honest, I was an idiot at 20 as well). I think they just wanted to create a fake news story so they could yell "Fake News", got caught creating this whole thing, and pushed forward with this allegation that wasn't really supposed to ever be pushed. Of course, being a week before the most hyped midterm election in history probably played a part as well.

That's just my best guess. It's hard to wrap my head around how stupid this entire thing is. I don't know if they broke any laws, but if they did they should be punished to the fullest extent. The whole "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" retort.

See response above, but yes the Quote at the bottom seems completely apropos to this situation.

If you're waiting on Mueller to be discredited via some type of claim of impropriety, I wouldn't hold my breath. Not that he's not capable, but I'm pretty sure it would have come out by now.

So what are we left with?

Is it possible these two were set up? To discredit them or someone else? But why? Or could they both really be that stupid to think they could pull it off?

Wohl stated he handled some sort of financial matters for her previously, and she contacted him at a later date to handle this... Handle what exactly? Act as private investigator? Public relations? Why on earth would she contact him?

Do we know how Burkman got dragged into it? What service would a Republican lobbyist provide for her?

Does she have an attorney on record? Did they advise her to get an attorney? Did they recommend one?

Re Carolyne Alicia Cass... I'm going to look more into her now. Did Wohl say he was handling an estate matter for her? So maybe the death of one of her parents? Might be worth checking out...

That's all I'm coming up with for now... But I'm even more intrigued now!

The simplest answer is usually the right one.

These two simpletons just wanted attention and got in over their heads.

Burkman couldn't even zip up his pants for a presser he called in which he was leveling serious accusations against Robert Mueller. That's just pathetic.

Yeah I saw that - insanity really. The three possibilities as I see them currently in descending order of likelihood (i.e. most likely first) - now this is just my opinion:

1) Most likely - these guys are idiots and its a sham including a fake accuser, no real accuser, or who knows
2) Currently Less likely - There is a real accuser and they file a police report and it all plays out one way or another
3) Least likely - These guys were set up by the deep state or something prior to the mid-terms

Any other possibilities?

Maybe the accuser is real, but she freaked once she realized this guy had a totally fake company with celebrity pictures as employees?? LOL who knows at this point...

Well, it sure seems there is a real Carolyne Cass -- she seems to design jewelry as well. I even found an address for her, and a family member's FB. I really hope there isn't a fake "Carolyne" putting the real one in media hell. Or maybe everything I found was planted.

I also found the dude she was with in the Getty pics. Georgetown University grad curiously enough.

I really don't want to think these guys are really that sad and thought we could be played so easily. That just makes me sad. And mad.

See the thing is...all the people he created fake linkedin profiles for (Now admitted the same)? On the Surefire Intelligence website etc? The profile pictures came from getty images.

I just think that is his go to page for fake people.

Either way, there appears to be only one Carolyne (Alecia) Cass with that weird spelling.

If they actually talked that woman into it, she is chatting with the FBI by now.
If they just pulled her name from Getty Images while downloading staff photo's for the fake website?
Well then they should have picked a more generic name.

Who knows with this # show.

No doubt! I'm sure they have lots of questions for her. And according to the My Life website --

Carolyne DOES have Arrest or Criminal Records.

The FBI may have questions we haven't even considered yet!

Yup. That's about it. The whole thing has been crazy from the gitgo.
