But back during the cold war it was accepted that Communists would send saboteurs across the border with the purpose of causing as much havoc as possible if the big one fired off.

It is foolish to think that some of the people coming across the border are not being paid to do just that in the event of a wider conflict.

How are the Chinese going to "invade"? Last I heard, they lacked anything like the where withal to do anything of the sort. They are not a military superpower with global reach--at least not yet.

...not to mention the very pertinent question of why would they invade? What's in it for them, other than a catastrophic war that they have absolutely no surety of winning?

Whats in it for the Chinese? Clean water clean air and food. Most of China is basically a waste dump. North America has a lot of resources the Chinese could use. I don't underestimate them either. We might have the advantage militarily right now but if the day comes when they can match it we're screwed. They could build a bridge out of people to invade us and still have some left over. I'm as patriotic as the next person but to think we're the best at everything and we can't be outmatched is foolish.

misinformed.. chinese are terribly travellers.. they need their own chinese food, without chinese style food the majority will starve..

The Chinese military strategy is regional. They want to be so strong the US cannot oppose them in thier own region without unacceptable cost. They are on course to get there.

Right now they seem to be seeking to control sea lanes in their own area, the South China Sea. This will extend to cover all their sphere of influence - Indochina down to Australia. After that, they are pushing west not east. They look to the US for money and technology; they might buy some companies here.

What they have said is that they want to modernize the silk road trade routes. They are getting control over their western provinces (largely Islamic) and building train tracks and roads. At the same time they wish to reestablish the silk road sea routes.

They are trying to develop third world trade to India and even Africa. Bear in mind they are a BRICS country. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will all be major trade partners with their own currency meant to supplant the US dollar in that part of the world. Add all of this together; it comes out to another Mongolian empire even larger than Genghis Khan's. Genghis Khan's empire was all about controlling the silk road.

There is no military invasion planned for the US. Tartaria did control Alaska down into California and also had a fort in Hawaii but I don't see them going this way. They might eventually seek to dominate places like the Philippines but they have their hands full right now.

Thanks for mentioning the Kalergi Plan, I'd never heard of it. I haven't looked into the founding of the European Union and Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi before. He sounds like an interesting character, highly intelligent, an aristocrat type from a wealthy European family and a Free Mason to boot. The European Union idea started way back in the 1920s apparently and Kalergi is considered the founding father of the movement.

Concerning the idea that the Kalergi Pan European plan promotes the destruction of the white European culture and outright genocide, I'm not so sure. I'm reading some material that claims his plan for Europe was to weaken it by forcing mass migrations of non-Europeans, then to be taken over by Jewish bankers and rich aristocrats - a full on new world order conspiracy theory to be sure.

Here is the most commonly used quote from Kalergi that explains his motivation for the plan.

ETA: I disagree with the idea that race mixing produces a weaken and less intelligent population. The idea of racial purity as a standard for a culture is truly an ignorant assumption. I believe that Kalergi's intentions were spun with that idea, as he was likely a Darwinist and believed that race mixing promoted a stronger diverse gene pool. He said as much in his quote. On the other hand, he was a rich Masonic aristocrat that socialized and worked with the usual NWO suspects, so I don't know.

I had never heard of it before and from what I have now read about him and the plan...it joins up so many dots and makes the 'bigger picture' of events world wide almost self explanatory!

Well wider conflict or not. There really is no we, us or them in my understanding. We are all individuals here trying to wrap our heads around what our governments are doing, right?

I could be very wrong. Though What State and Military does isn't exactly a people issue but then it is and then it gets really complex after that.
