Yup been thinking that for years, eye opening isn’t it disk? Everyone is supposed to be the victim it’s the repeated narrative drilled into peoples minds from primary school reinforced by the media.

That’s why the media literally sowes hate against anyone who dosent identify as a victim. They especially hate when you refuse to be a victim and your part of a groups that’s been established by them to be victims.

It's all about being prepared and not giving a F anymore. Give an inch they take a mile and then want more so, I'm done, trying to be reasonable with those who have no ability to reason.

I think many enjoy feeling like a victim, it means they can push responsibility off onto others and also gives them an excuse to act like entitled a##holes.

There was an old joke in the old MMO City of Heroes that if they removed the ability to either use the character creator to make avatars that could offend or the ability to name characters offensive things, the only avatars anyone would have would be featureless, genderless, vaguely human-shaped gray blobs.

I find it ironic that the NPC meme has now taken off to mock the PC-adoring left.

Agreed. I'm very circumspect in what I say at work unless I know the person really well. There are certain employees that will go straight to management and report things people say to others. The most recent incident was completely stupid and ended with someone being written up.

All they said was, "Oh, I hate you" to their friend because they got the weekend off and were going drinking and the other person was stuck working closing. Neither person was offended, nor upset. It was a joke between people who have known each other for years as co-workers, but the person who overheard decided it was disrespectful and offensive and ran to the managers to tattle.

Now, when a manager is anywhere within earshot of the breakroom, it's dead silence. Everyone's head is buried in their phones and not talking to each other.

It's like walking a minefield these days and it wears you down trying to second guess and evaluate everything you say just in case it might, juuuust might, offend that 1 in 1000 person who's decided to raise their hackles at something innocuous.
