It says 404 Removed on my tab and redirects to the main page. Weird!

I've been on here since 2016 and I can't recall a thread just disappearing like that.

It's back and they said it was mistakenly trashed.

All kinds of unexplained things happening this week.

I do believe that its the same van. The graphics are typically vinyl and not paint. After several years in the sun the vinyl begins to crack and spiderweb. While they won't usually peel all the way off, bits may begin to fall off. Florida has a lot of sun so I'm guessing that the graphics began to deteriorate. As for the running boards being white and not beige anymore. I'm assuming that he took the van to one of those "We'll paint any vehicle for $199!" places. They informed him that they would charge an extra $799 to tape off the beige running boards OR they could just paint them white for the $199 price. Just my assumptions and dont know for fact its what happened. Looking at the current pics, the all white paint looks like a cheap, non-factory and unprofessinal paint job.

My Dad used to own a striping company. All your need to remove the stripes are a blow dryer, razor blade and some adhesive remover.

Gas/petrol/diesel painted on the decal will lift it up as well

It works great on the speed bumps they put on the roads to stop people driving fast

I still think this shows what a manipulative and hateful loser George Soros is.

The van looks very similar except the one that's been towed by the authorities is missing those wavy lines on the side. The black spare tire thing is very similar in each pic though. Did he pay to have those lines removed? What would it cost to do that? Get a new paint job? Why? The American flag sticker appears to be the same. It also appears the writing on the back of the windows are the same as well. So odd!

Maybe he got a new paint job to flaunt his pro trump anti Democrat stickers? That's probably it.
striping like those wavy lines is usually decals. peel right off after a couple years in the sun

Ugh.. and here starts what will probably be from 2 to 6 years of posts trying to prove this was a false flag event. Can't just accept that there MIGHT JUST BE one crazy far right whacko. No... everyone on the right is right-minded, stable, and couldn't POSSIBLY do something like this.

That is a good find. I personally think he's just a crazy right-winger that lost his #. It's not too far-fetched considering the hate you get when displaying support for Trump. In the end, it's not going to change much in regards to the mid-terms.

LOL really? Why is it always a 'crazy' lone wolf?

That's why this screams fake af to me. Anytime the end result is the general public going 'yup just another crazy nut job' you KNOW the fix is in. This time it's aimed at the lowest common denominators of the Left, making Republicans look bad. Git-r-Done? Gimme a break!

Think of Oklahoma City, do you honestly believe that a for real, truly motivated, for really real right wing nut would go through the trouble to make so many fake bombs? Why the hell would you mail a TIME bomb?? No this was set up to look like a bad Dem false flag at worst, and a crazy nut job at best.

Now think of the caravan. It's aimed at the lowest common denominators of the Right, scaring them with immigrants the Left is fighting so hard for. Who is bankrolling this caravan? Think of the logistics involved with spontaneously organizing, transporting, feeding, and lodging 2k+ travelers across multiple countries. It's legit a small army of people. Legitimate immigrants, mind you. They are honestly just taking advantage of an opportunity to better their lives. But whoever is paying for it knows Trump can use this, and has used this, to rile up his base, fear mongering for the elections.
So it can't be funded by the Left.

No, whoever is behind this stuff, they apparently don't have to even try that hard anymore because people will just go 'yup just a lone wold nutjob, I guess'.

This is interesting, but myself like many am still waiting for the explanation for "mailed" packages with no postmark.

If hand delivered then there must be a video of this billboard style van and its driver mozying on up the east coast.

Then the building cameras. The street cameras. The traffic and tunnel feeds. Something.

Ugh, razor blades eh? How much would that cost to pay a shop to do that cuz something tells me if this guy did it he would tear that paint up!

I found what appears to be Cesar Sayoc’s van in August of 2016 in a parking lot in Aventura, Florida.

Please take the time and look it up on Google maps for yourself. The address is 3570 Waterways Blvd Aventura, Florida.

You’re going to have to modify the street view section to show the timeframe of August 2016.

I can make out the American flag stickers on the back right window. It also appears to have the same body style. The main difference is that the photos released on the news have the current van painted all white and there are clearly more “stickers” on the side windows.

The difference in the van’s appearance reflects that this man either became obsessive/unhinged in the past 2 years since the photo was taken or he was the perfect scapegoat for something worse.

All politics aside, I figured ATS would appreciate the find.

Not the same van.

There are no gray wavy lines under the front windows.

LOL!!! actually it is the SAME EXACT VAN only painted. Those wavy lines are stickers that can easily be peeled off. Same van indeed.

WTF, why did the main thread disappear??

I was just about to ask about that! That thread was red-hot and had like 40 pages, and suddenly it's gone.

You know how things work around here. One or two troublemakers enter a thread, ATS shuts down the whole thing rather than deal with the troublemakers.

Its possible. I admit its possible.

Is it possible for You to admit there are quite a few details about this incident that dont make sense? No post marks? Bombs that contain explosives but do not work? 12 of them and not one exploded? Experts say they look like movie props? Why mail a time bomb? Why is he following all Democrats on Twitter?

Is it THAT hard to believe there might be more to this than just a crazy right winger who lost it?

At least I can admit it might just be a crazy right winger. My mind is open to other possibilities. Is yours?

Seriously? Is it so difficult to conceive that an absolute crap ton of people have become obsessed with partisan politics in the past 2 years? Turn on a TV, log in to social media.

It’s not a conspiracy that someone went off the rails, it’s a numbers game. Input equals output.

Fantastic find. This is definitely the same make and model van. The older version has striping decals and is missing the gas cap. The stickers in the window that are present in the older version are a dead on match as is the covered bike on the rack on the back of the van. The running boards may have been painter, replaced, or may have also been covered with a decal as well; I had a very similar van at one point after we had our 3rd child many many years and another lifetime ago.

I can't seem to get directly behind it in street view. 2016 is only archived in a couple of spots along the road and in the parking lot, if you could please share the link for the exact spot you got the screenshot in your OP in, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here are a couple of the screenshots I got:

Also notice that the van from 2016 had what appears to be a chrome trim piece running the length of the van on the lower portion of the body.

No such trim appears on the the van being towed by the Police.

It is possible that the trim was removed, as some have claimed the graphic decal appearing on the 2016 photo seems to have been removed, but that would have been a bit more involved process than just peeling off the graphic would have been.

I believe most “bargain” paint shops would have just left the trim in place and taped over it to re-spray the truck, pulling the tape once the paint dried.

Such trim was once mounted to the body by a series of rivet-like pins; removing that type of trim would leave a series of holes along the side of the van, unless filled with body putty (Bondo) or metal (lead, usually).

No such holes appear in the later photo.

It is also possible that this is a later model vehicle on which the trim in question would have been attached using an adhesive. But here again, it’s removal would have required additional pre-paint preparation.

False Flag.

In regards to OP, as it's been said, you didn't even find the same van. EVEN IF it was the same van, what is the point of this thread?

He said the point is all these extra stickers were added sometime in the last year or two so maybe his mental health took a sudden turn for the worse sometime in the last couple of years. Or he could be a patsy.

Look closely at the back windows, the same lettering is there. Im pretty sure its the same van, although some modifications have been made in the last 2.12 years.
