So i know a political rally is basically cheer leading but where is the actual specific fixes and solutions that come with the how of it all like some of the specifics that come during a presidential debate? How ARE you going to fix or address this issue for our state ? WHAT is your solution to an ongoing problem that will benefit the people?

In the up coming elections has there been any debate on issues and solutions as to HOW & WHAT Or is it just vote for me because im red and the blues are idiots or vote for me because im blue and we have to take red down?

My question is what are they offering in the way of specific solutions Anyone???

Has anyone else noticed this trend in the red or blue narrative?

Well as you stated, these are rallies and not town hall meetings. If you'd like to know about the candidates' platforms, you should find their website and do some homework. Once you know what they claim they stand for, look at what the parties in DC are actually doing. Because once they're sent to DC they just vote for or against whatever their party does.

This is a joke right?

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of everyone I have known, read or heard about who is planning on voting republican are doing so because of policy. They are doing so because the republican policies seem sound and logical to them and the democrat policies seem insane and illogical.

Not once have I ever had the impression that those who are voting democrat are doing so because they think democrat policies are sound. Every statement I’ve ever heard from a dem-voter on voting reasoning is not related to policy in any way shape or form.

The parties have their own websites, open to public viewing 24/7. Have a read. You will NOT find bigotry, xenophobia, misogyny, racism or intolerance of any form in the republican policies. No matter what cnn tells you.

But if I were you I’d be reading democrat policy, it will give you good insight as to why they have such abysmal support.

Ok thank you! ! where can i find the national number of people attending town hall meetings vs rally's ? what would be the ratio?

On page 19 on the NC judicial Voter guide with Proposed Constitutional Amendments the "as prescribed by law" is struck out and instead is changed to "upon request" & "reasonably timely manner" .... so am i to think the law is being done away with for a more flexible open interpretation?

Im not a lawyer so how do i know this is good for me when Im in a future situation with that Changed amendment when voted yea or nay could have benefited me ?

It comes down to actual civic education which when as busy as everybody is with other daily family obligations no one has time to really understand what the hell it actually means.

So it does come down to a participation .... hence the original question town halls vs rally's .....anyone?

I see what you're getting at and I applaud anyone that really wants to get to the meat of things. With that said, the parties differ so broadly these days I find it unlikely that anyone doesn't know which party best represents their views. I'd start by visiting this link until someone more qualified can offer their assistance.

Part of me agrees with you but ....

Trump has said what he wants to do, and he has been doing it. It's been working.

So when Trump does a rally, everyone there knows what he wants to do and hows it working. So they want to have some fun and be entertained. Trump provides it.
