Where's Obama's props for sparing so many US Troops from becoming cannon fodder?

Obama gets so much criticism for notions such as He 'ruined our military', yet in my view since He sent Al Qaeda in as our plastic proxy army he spared tens of thousands of US Troops from getting maimed & killed.

Rep. Mike Turner: The Obama-era neglect of our military must come to an end
On Inauguration Day 2017, the Obama administration left President Trump a severely weakened and constrained military. For the better part of a decade, President Obama allowed his administration’s sequestration to destroy the capabilities and readiness of our armed forces. He forced our Americans in uniform to take the risk that a weaker military would not further endanger their lives and our own national security.

Interesting.

Seems Obama saved US a mint when you compare Iraq to Syria.

Although so far its been no light at the end of the tunnel for all those war profiteer outfits that come in on no bid contracts to rebuild the same stuff "we" blew up in such imperialist conquests.

Meaning certain aspects of the Military Industrial Complex have "weakened", but all those savings, coupled with hardly a shirt over the past decade in military expenditures, what's the problem here?

It's not like the GOP has gone out of their minds over the fact that it was Al Qaeda of all narco-terrorism cartels "we" have partnered with in the domination and therefore devastation of the Middle East (agenda).

I mean if the GOP can forgive Al Qaeda for this:

And forgive Obama for partnering with them, without even as much having an open air debate about it all, then how come they couldnt forgive Him for saving so many US Troops from cannon fodderization?

1) He way extended Bush's withdrawal date (and still troops there today)
2) Made the military abandon their equipment without first scuttling it thus providing ISIS witha lot of good weapons of war and equipment (a treasonous move)

And you speak of Obama ?
Funded and equipped ISIS

He didn’t necessarily ruin our military. He ruined our military preparedness. Which if a major shooting war breaks out will cost more American servicemen their lives .

How could He save US trillions, the war budget hardly skip a beat, yet still "ruin" the military?

I just dont get the economics of it.

Never mind the rest (military imperialism openly embraced in the "Land of the Free", partnering with Al Qaeda the catalyst of the "War on Terror", the HORRORS of WAR being marketed as something admirable and even desirable, etc) that defies all possible reason.

Perhaps if you have some data besides MSM talking points for this juncture....

Pay reductions , spending reduction, troop reduction, sequestration.... They all add up .

Do you remember the stories about the Air Force being forced to cannibalize or even go to museums for parts ?

Every bit of that effects readiness .

That's not the cost of trillion dollar wars, instead its because Obama following it reduced the war budget by what $50-100 billion?

Meanwhile he continued Bush's WAR against the Middle East for pittance.

Shouldnt we REJOICE?

I mean obviously no one even cares that Al Qaeda, their attack on US that started it, being our partners in it now isnt even an issue, it was all about devastating the Middle East just because, all along, the disconnect between the Agenda, and the lack of it costing everything to get there, it seems is what we're splitting hairs over here.

“Seems Obama saved US a mint when you compare Iraq to Syria.”

Umm you just called Obama a pacifist because one of the wars he started was cheaper than one of the wars the previous president started. If you think about this long enough, you might answer your own question.

Obama dropped more bombs than W. did and now even our Senators can’t name all the countries where we have ongoing military engagements. Obama continued the same Middle East policies that Bush did. And we are STILL spending Cold War-era levels of money on defense, and we basically just piss it away; the Pentagon lost a trillion dollars (or spent a hell of a lot on projects so black they can’t tell Congress or the President... I’m not sure which scenario is worse, honestly).

Anyone who tells you “Obama wrecked the military” is just spreading pro-war propaganda designed to make everyone happy about all the countries around the world we like to destabilize. The truth is we spend a LOT of our tax money (more than any other nation, and some years we spend more than all other nations combined) fighting wars designed to maximize corporate profits, from Lockheed (selling weapons) to McDonalds (using force to open markets to our multinationals) and Exxon (for control of the oil/energy supplies and markets).

The money has just been shifted, instead of spending so much on SGLI and survivors benefits, they realized they can still keep the MIC happy with drones and other weapons spending.

It's a win win really, keep fattening up Raytheon and the like with out all the bad press of dead troops.

The deepstate can no longer use spreading freedom, democracy and upholding human rights as a pretext to war since most people will see through the BS after the Saudi Arabia debacle.

As one of the 7% who cheerfully volunteered to protect the 93% who will never know what it means to actually fight for another's freedoms, I find this assessment quite entertaining. The military has more access to what’s actually going on in the world than the armchair warriors ever will.

But, by all means, keep living in your bubble of globalist and democratic party talking points.
...all the while enjoying the freedoms provided you...
