Yes, but also the whole "anyone who says that illegal immigration levels are unsustainable is a Nazi racist that hates brown people" is part of the divide and conquer strategy too.
Of course it is, and I guarantee you there is a very small minority who actually believe what you just said. The fact that the big media companies are saying/reporting on it is the only reason it seems so prevalent.
Both sides have their propaganda which feed off of each other.
