Mexico will not allow caravan immigrants to enter without proper visa .

It looks like Nieto is going to step up to the plate for us . Yesterday to 727 jets landed near Mexico’s southern border loaded with federal police . From what I’ve read that puts the number at around 500.

The fist reports yesterday were that the police weren’t there to close the border only to help facilitate entry into Mexico. Now I realize Nieto chose his words carefully.

According to reports any member of the caravan that doesn’t have proper documentation will be turned away or detained pending application ..

This will ease the tension between Trump and Mexico, curb immigrant migration from South and Central America and as a bonus kill someone’s October surprise.

Mexico sent federal police to its southern border Wednesday with a warning that they will detain and deport any members of a highly publicized migrant caravan who try to enter the country without a visa.

The police officers arrived in two planes in Tapachula, a border city that is a popular waypoint for migrants coming up through Central America to cross into Mexico. Local media reports showed hundreds of agents deplaning, some carrying riot gear.


In a statement released Wednesday evening, the Mexican foreign ministry said any of the caravan migrants entering the country “in an irregular manner” will be arrested and administratively deported if appropriate. Migrants who claim they are fleeing violence and want to petition for asylum must do so at the border, while remaining in a government-run camp for up to 45 days, the statement also said.

good thing this had nothing to do with politics. If it did, then someone would be really angry now.

What I think we will see, is that they will have proper documentation to enter Mexico and then just conveniently lose it before they reach our border. Without knowing where they came from, we don't know where to send them back to.

Cue the hand-wringing and pearl clutching.

There’s one thing I’m curious about. I wonder if this was discussed during the NAFTA negotiations ?

Additionally for open borders advocates this is a crisis. I suggest they send every member of ANTIFA to the mexican southern border to protest. They should use the same tactics they use in America shoot fireworks at the police l,!mace people and attack them in groups .

I just had this conversation with my husband yesterday. Why so many this time? If the numbers and photos are true, there are thousands. What was the event, what was being told to them to make this time so different than all the other times.
Of course this has been happening all along, but never at these numbers. Maybe the US and Mexico worked together to incite the hordes and to stop it "together"??

I could see this situation being manipulated by both the Dems & Republicans too. The Democrats want to show the poor poor migrants with little children being treated poorly. (maybe this is how the republicans will treat your poor children next wink wink)

The Republicans want to show massive amounts of healthy looking men trying to rush to America in a long gigantic line. (all the more reason for a wall right wink wink)

I'm sure had they not been stopped, they would have reached our border when? Early november?

Mexicans believe it or not are very xenophobic to the people from the south. I can bet that caravan would have been cut in half with number of people by time it would have reached the US, from people just staying there. It happens a lot apparently.

Well, Trump tweeted, "The assault on our country at our Southern Border, including the Criminal elements and DRUGS pouring in, is far more important to me, as President, than Trade or the USMCA."

So take what you will from that comment.
