The fact that he's holding his report until AFTER the Mid-terms, and there are no ANTI-TRUMP leaks coming out of his investigation's findings, indicates that any "dirt" uncovered is against Democrats.

That is a possibility also. But with a team of 200, it's hard to imagine ZERO leaks. But since this is a new story, you can bet that the media will be pulling out all the stops to get something, anything, out of Mueller's team before the elections next month.

I spent enough time around politicians and government policy makers when I was in the army to know that it isn't all politics. Sometimes it really is a bit of prudence and proper procedure. So far, nothing in Mueller's behavior or any of his statements have suggested any impropriety on his part.

I would tentatively have to agree with carewemust that if there was damning evidence against Trump, someone would have leaked it to the press. Admittedly that is a view from my personal bias, but I'd challenge anyone to find fault with the basis of my reasoning considering past occurrences of leaking in this investigation.

I don't think it's going to be what either side wants to hear, I don't think he will announce collusions but there will be things that casts Trump in a bad light. Both sides will do what they always do, rally around the portion they feel can be used to vilify the other side.

Smells strongly of CYA, if he comes out early with nothing against trump the left will want his head on a pike... he comes out early with things against trump the right will want his head on a pike.

Come out after the election and a lot of that hate will be deflected, and if his results don't mirror the narrative it gets buried on page 50.

the only conclusion that might be able to come to is that IF Mueller is deliberately holding off till after the election, then maybe his findings include something that might effect the elections if the information was released this close to the election. which doesn't really lead to much of a conclusion, since even if his findings were to say that hey, there's really nothing there that tied trump and gang to anything, releasing it would probably tilt the election. then again, he might be waiting till after the election because he ain't got all his loose ends tied up nice and neatly and he needs more than a few weeks to finish it.

OR, Muller /is/ a republican and he doesn't want to tilt the election away from his side.

I pretty much agree at this point. The big collusion will be money laundering (in my opinion). The corporate democrats will harrumph and do a little pearl clutching. The republicans wont give a snip. The Koch bros will keep on eroding our liberty buying out both sides of the isle. And, a two tiered justice system will keep lurching along.

Edit to add: UNLESS they bring up that Trump server, but I don't think that'll ever happen. #resistance = #assistance. (see Koch bros buying out both sides of the isle)

Sometimes CYA is prudent.

But I don't think that's the case here, though until we actually see what's in there, we won't know for sure. I think it's going to be in favor of Trump, not the other way 'round. Otherwise, it would have leaked by now...

2. Mueller investigation is not finished. (I thought he was writing his final report.)

3. Trump is crafting written answers to Mueller's questions. (Those were submitted 3 weeks ago.)

As this article from early October states, Bob Mueller had sent 15 questions for President Trump to answer, in writing.

Based on information learned since I started this thread, it now appears that Bob Mueller will not "wrap up" his investigation anytime soon. Why?

Because his investigation is acting as a Dam. It's preventing keep deep-state figures (Comey, Lynch, Strzok, etc.) from sharing all they know with Congress.

And, it's being used as the excuse for the DOJ and President Trump not being able to release certain documents...either with, or without redactions.
