Yeah the singing is over the top, and the lyrics are a little wordy, but the music is solid and it works well as a whole. Anyways wasn't it Frank Zappa who said that lyrics are only there to get people listening to the music? No? Well I'm sure someone said it!

The worst song ever? Beats the pudding out of Justin Beiber or whatever kids are listening to these days.

Who in heck would consider this the worst song ever? Personally, I love it!

The music is excellent! The lyrics are fantastic! And the vocals are so-so.

I mean, RIchard Harris was an actor. His singing was ok. Yeah, the song probably could have been done better. But, in my opinion, no one has done it better so far. It was just this strange sort of synchronicity that made this version perfect.

It was like finding just the right bell bottom jeans to match your lime green platform shoes. Who knows why the universe works the way it does? Sometimes, all you can do is sit back and appreciate the beauty.

Macarthur Park. The song is my favorite. It was about tripping in the 60's...but Richard sucked.
