Well, I hate him because he's a pathological liar, a selfless narcissist, a possible money launderer, a bully, a serial tax cheater, a serial philanderer, a delusional dingbat unconnected to reality, an imbecile who doesn't read his briefings properly, a possible sufferer of early dementia and above all he's utterly unqualified for the position that he stumbled into despite the fact that he lost the popular vote by three million ballots.
The fact that this bloviating bag of pus has such a position of power scares me.

Why do the Dems hate Trump?

To understand this one need look no further than middle eastern terrorism.

A bunch of old people manipulating younger people to do stupid snip.

We see the same thing in Democratic terrorism in 'Murica.

Either they like his character or they don't. I personally don't like his character, never have and probably never will. He's a narcissist and a narcissist is the least person who would ever represent anyone or anything but themselves.

This character assessment is based on personal experiance with the POTUS?
Time at trump u? Time as a gaffer or best boy at the apprentice? Time at wwe?
Surely after all this bluster about sides and divides you are not now telling us your assessment was made the same way those you lord over and disparage?
You surely are not basing this on information from the media?

What has Donald Trump done that would engender such vitriolic blind hate:

- He colluded with the Russians? (AHAHAHAHAHHHAAAA, sorry but that is like a flat earther theory!)
- He had sex with a porn star? (I thought the libs were all about having sex with anything! Why would this bother them?)
- He texts mean things? (He is both funny and truthful. The truth hurts.)

Why does most of the country love him, even though secretly:

- He gets sht done!
- He has a backbone of cast iron!
- He is loyal to his people, and won't leave them hanging on whimful accusations. (The liberals eat their own constantly!)
- It is very obvious he doesn't take opinion polls to figure out what is the right thing to do.
- North Korea is going in the right direction.
- Iran is being pulverized like the Obama administration was woefully incapable of doing.
- Russia is floundering and on the verge of a country convergent mental breakdown.
- Our economy is soaring DUE TO HIS ACTIONS! (I can't wait til 2020 to see the libs try and spin it otherwise)
- The UN is now being put into check, as the American people have wanted done since 2005.
- China has been identified as cheaters liars and thieves. Again, something Obama was not only unwilling to do, but he even declared this century the century of Chinese dominance. (Seriously, it really seems/seemed like he wanted to destroy America)
- Donald Trump supports Police Officers who uphold the rule of law. (Obama supported criminals)
- Donald Trump calls out the MSM for the propagandists they are. (We all know they are in the pocket of liberals, big business and worse)
- Donald Trump is willing and capable of saying what nobody else can or will say. He has done it literally hundreds of times already. He is a godsend.
- I am just brainstorming here. I could keep going.

- Fingerman

It's certainly not due to any critical thinking skills...Perhaps drugs...Free stuff...Probably most don't know why they hate Trump other than that's what they're told to do...

My personal dislike for the man primarily stems from how he's run his businesses. Shady practices and screwing over the people doing work for him.

I'm also not a fan of his economic policy. The trickle down model is ravaged our economy twice already and is the primary reason we have such a large wealth gap today. Under Reagan and Bush we saw that the money does not actually trickle down. Instead the poverty rate increases and middle class wages stagnate while the wealth held by the upper echelons of society greatly increases.

Of course there's other issues I have with his administration as well. For example, the only member of his Cabinet that is actually qualified for their position is Mattis.

Now if you want to know why people are so vocal and hyperbolic about their dislike for Trump, I blame his sycophants. When you had people overinflating his accomplishments and calling his the greatest President ever within the first month. Or claiming that he needs to be on Mount Rushmore. It becomes quite clear that Trump has developed a cult of personality with a strong emphasis on cult. So if people are going to wildly irrational in their support for him don't be surprised when the reaction is wildly irrational dislike for him.

He east hamburgers with a knife and fork.

And not only that, but he's really mean to people that talk smack about him in public, which is just not on man...

I'm sure I saw him stepping on a kitten once too, the barbaric maniac.

Tell me. Show me. One single republican or conservative that owns a cat.

They cannot own cats for fear that Trump will step on them.

He's quite known for his kitten killing bent, I saw someone in this thread say they saw him doing it too. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Me thinks you are conflating the most vocal with... well... "Everyone." There's plenty of folks like me that neither like nor dislike Trump. We have no personal or emotional investment in Trump the person..... Only as our president.

I'll give Trump credit where credit is due, but I'll also call out where I disagree, such as his support for increased civil asset forfeiture, medical marijuana, policing reform, etc. Even his apparent economic wins can be wiped out in a heartbeat if/when the housing and student loans bubbles burst...

And, of course, we're still waiting for that swamp to be drained. Lots of rumors and hype, but it's all just rumors and wishful thinking for now. Still little to no transparency.

But it ain't over till it's over. We'll have to wait and see how history judges Trump with the benefit of hindsight.

Who is "everyone else"? Most of the world hates Trump. Even in the States, Trump is disliked by independents more than liked.

In any case, I've disliked Trump since the 90's. I've always seen him as a pompous asshole and con man. That opinion was only reinforced with his antics since 2015.

I don't love nor hate the man--if he does something good, he deserves credit, and when he does something stupid, he deserves backlash.

It's an interesting approach to take.

I do, however, feel a "need" to defend him when the blind hatred starts coming out, because nobody deserves that simply because of a letter by his name or a political ideology that might differ from someone else's.

Most of the world only gets left-wing media headlines about Trump--I'd hate the caricature that is sold to the world, too, if I didn't have a better understanding of him from living here.

That is generally the same here in America, where most people in my experience only see headlines and think that they know the whole story. But, something interesting to note is that, at this same point in Obama's presidency, he was only beating Trump's approval rating by two points at 45%, but Bush (W) blows them both out of the water at 65%. Clinton comes in just one point ahead of Trump at 44% at this same point in his presidency.

Only 50% of the last 10 presidents held an average-positive approval rating (above 50%) after the entirety of their term(s), so your point about that is kinds of...well, pointless. Independents have been relatively consistent with the 30-something% approval ratings since inauguration, except that it has actually been on the higher end of their approval over the past few weeks.

But a higher non-approval rating doesn't always equate to "hate" or even dislike of the man, it just means that they wish that he'd be doing or focusing on different things in the execution of his job.

Gallup'll tell ya.

Trump is the man that prevented the first female President that would have been a Democrat and that had 100% chance to win...He can start WWIII and cause 100 millions of deaths and not be this hated...

Well ... yeah.

If you start WWIII and wipe out most of the world's remaining population, it would just be statistically impossible for the surviving few to hate anyone as much as the current population hates him now.

So I'm a cult follower coz I want his face on Mount Rushmore?
I can see where that logic comes from.
But in truth, I am very happy about a few things that no other Republican would have dared do:
- Move the Capital of Israel to Jerusalem. (The balls!) (Both Bush and Obama promised they would during their campaigns)
- The massive and blazing fast de-regulation.
- Calling out blokes that need to be called out:
Kim Jung ill, German Chancellor, Iran, Syria, Hillary, Obama, Ford, The UN, Saudi Arabia, OPEC, Schummer, Feinstein, Weiner, McCain, Kaepernick, Rosie, Megyn Kelly, Avenatti, Jim Acosta, Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, Bill Oreilly, Jeb Bush, George Bush, John Kerry, James Comey, and the list goes on and on and on. The man understands what a bully pulpit is, and utilizes it to the greatest effect in our lifetimes. Some of it is silly. Some of it is not. I look at it as he needs to keep the blade sharp, so whatever/whomever comes his way is getting sliced and diced.

NOBODY ever put these people in their place very well. Trump has smoked them all. A single person, the President of the United States, has shown these personalities to be what most all of us think individually but do not have the platform, the balls, or the words to use to curtail their hi-jinks. Yet this man has done it single-handedly. No wonder the entire press tries to take him down daily. But they fail.

If you don't agree that the man is an absolute giant, then we will have to disagree. But I just gave you proof of why he is.
Furthermore, I want his besmirching face on Mount Rushmore because it will be a challenge coin for anyone who is ever confronted by a crazy liberal. I would put a picture of Mount Rushmore in my offices, outside my home, on my desktop, on my phone, on my shirt, just to have fun.
