1.5 degree rise in body temp would kill you, just like it would kill the earth!

I have personally worked outside in temps as low as -30 and as high as 115 and survived .

You got much more to fear from diaper duty my friend than climate change and make sure to get a diaper genie they cut down on house funk tremondously.

1.5 degree raise in body temp is only a 100.1 degree fever.

We will have to adapt, as usual, it's called survival.

The premise itself is false.

1.5 degree C is about 3 degree F. Normal body temperature is 98.6 F, so we're talking about a fever of 101.6 F. That is not deadly.

Secondly, the human body is warm-blooded, which means it operates at a specific narrow temperature range regardless of outside temperature. The planet, on the other hand, has a wide temperature range even in the same area, within the space of 24 hours. It is nowhere near as sensitive to temperature as the human body.

Congratulations on becoming a parent. Your child will be just fine. The IPCC is just a boogeyman. Breath... in, out, in, out...

People do not realize that only 58 million years ago there were turtle and alligators in Siberia and fern forest all the way to the poles.... for both poles were ice free. The earth was 8C warmer back then and that was when many mammals got their kick start. Monkey's developed forward facing eyes and thumbs for grasping etc etc.. The bigger problem was the equatorial oceans which in some areas could get as hot as 36C which was really a bad day for those creature who lived there. Also for our history buffs during Rome's glory days it was hotter than it is now.. Those Legionnaires must have been eating something to produce all the global warming gas ?

Has anyone noticed how it is always 10 years in the future so we must do something NOW !

Did you ask your child if he agrees with this or are you planning out his whole life. If you think things will go as planned then this must be your first kid

So getting into a hot tub, which will raise my core temp over 1.5 degrees will destroy myself and the earth?

Totally worth it.

So you are saying in the past the world was never warmer than it is now?

Oh and 99.7 temperature will not kill you.

Do you think it happened this quick though? Do you think maybe life had time to evolve with the temperature rise. Why is the Great Barrier Reef that I live beside dying? why is it almost dead? why are all the fish that use to be in the ocean beside my house gone?

Yes the climate changed happened for an Ice age one time so fast that Wooly Mammoths are intact in ICE and have flowers in their stomachs from a warmer time that ended abruptly.

WE ARE COMING OUT OF AN ICE AGE.

It HAS to warm. There is no other way to go when you are coming out of an Ice Age.

Are most of you American?

You truly are the worst people on this planet. Period.

I am an Environmental Scientist in America and we have cleaned the air and water better than any other country on Earth and you know it. We no longer have major pollution related smog in most places but China and India know. We can do more in the US but China and India are your enemy if you think Man is causing the warming.

Apparently to get rid of the Americans first, since we are the worst. LOL

To the OP: As I have said many times, Pollution is killing everything, not the weather. We need to clean up our act.

Of course and pollution is causing temperature rise

Actually it cause the Temps to lower by blocking that Yellow thing in our skies each day.

Apparently because we think for ourselves? The older ones of us received a marvelous public education before they formed the Dept of Education and started brainwashing people like you here in the US. You are parroting a LIE!

The thing is, even if it is a lie, is that really such a bad thing? Say they are lying, what's the worst thing that could happen? We all clean up our polluting act and have a much nicer planet to live on. It just costs us more.

But if it isn't a lie, we end up killing off our planet.

Why take the risk?

it's a literal Hell.
That's what they want you to think. But it does have a lot of CO2.

It should be noted, as well, that Enceladus is far, far from the Three Bears. It don't take a star to keep things warm.

Magma moving to meet the changes in Earths Magnetic Poles is our source as I have offered proof several times on ATS that the poles are moving and the magnetic field affects molecules and atoms in a closed system. The Earth is not a truly closed system but it does have properties of one.

Good question. Do you trust liars?

I don't.

We have tons of proof thru years of data shared on ATS to back up they lie and happen to follow that up with a demand for more taxes to fix the problem. We simply need to keep our air and water as clean as possible not go crazy about things that are very natural like CO2 from plants and animals.

Yes. It is.

As Justoneman said, we are in the cleanest country on the planet. The real polluters are China and India, primarily because they are growing so fast economically. Yet, that "harmless" lie you seem to believe also takes no aim at them, only at the US and perhaps Europe (another example of an area which pollutes very little).

The same people who promote this lie so adamantly are the ones who are also in charge of San Fransisco... take a look what they have created:

Does that look clean or pristine to you?

The lie is not an attempt to clean the planet. The lie is an attempt to take your resources away from you. You want to clean the planet? Go pick up some trash along the highway (whatever happened to the 'adopt-a-mile' program?), plant some trees, grow a garden... something besides joining a cry for others to do what you should be doing.

And no, I'm not a hypocrite. I'm already doing my part, and have been for decades. 80 acres of pristine, undisturbed nature that I live in the middle of, which I refuse to allow to be spoiled for profit. Unrestrained by opposition, that lie would have me stripped of ownership of that land and instead give it to a government that, frankly, without public pressure, does not have the greatest record of maintaining anything except exploitation.

We are lied to and extorted about everything. Why should this be any different?

If we get a cleaner planet and cleaner, more efficient fuels to use, what is the problem? As least this lie would have an upside!

I do not believe for one second that the US is the cleanest country on the planet. Agriculture alone (pesticides, etc) causes untold pollution within the US (just look at your water in many areas). Are you really trying to claim that the US is cleaner than, say Bhutan?

I agree about China and India but that's kind of the point. If we all go along with cleaning up our act, we all benefit. Why is that a bad thing?
