How come they show the launch/relanding but the visuals those of us in SoCal actually see in the sky are much later in the dark?
Ie apparently they launched and landed over an hour ago during some daylight but just minutes ago I saw the 2 rocketlike things still in sky, a cloud of dust and then separate going opposite ways (apparently one a satellite placed in space, but it looked soooo low!) then proceded slowly downward, both then dissappear into horizon much later than the landing clips shared online.

Its funny how then they share videos of the landing where the rocket somehow turned around and landed perfectly on a pad, but nobody sees that part except maybe a rent-a-crowd comprised of what seems like a few familiar expired disney kid stars cheering and laughing ear to ear.

How come there's no real amateur footage of any of the apparently 'landings'?

Perhaps the problem you are having is simply because you do not know terribly much about how rockets work.

The video is real, as are all of the crashes from when they were developing the art that is landing a pencil.

I watched it and the bit on the lower right literally 'spun' off doing a spin then afterburners went off. Couldn't see them land cause of the mountains, but it's pretty dark here and I could definitely see flames off the lower right orb thing, it went white then orange flames, and then down slowly. The left part kept going going up up and away.

Has the author of the SpaceX Landing hoax video ever heard of gyroscopic stabilization.

Lol, he calls out Astronomy Live, an old very experienced ATS contributor who actually knows a thing or two about tracking space objects.

The OP's video is pure garbage from an ignoramus with no desire to better himself to gain even a modicum of understanding on the topic. Maybe he can start watching some Scott Manly videos on Youtube to get a better grip on reality and the fundamentals of rocketry.

Edit. Oh and for the OP who is after some other footage from amateurs, take a watch of this video with good speakers/headphones as its binaurally done to heighten the experience of what its like to be there.

I love that dude!!!

His videos are amazing and awesome to watch. Glad to see someone that knows of them.

Now now.... you be nice to the newbie AR. I myself have said some things that don’t make sense....though most the time I do it on purpose.

Didn’t realize it was a newbie or I would have been slightly nicer about it. BTW Dave works just fine.

Afterburners ? That's the very first I have read of rocket motors having afterburners, I think I might be really out of touch with what is going on.

I think that's for me? I don't know if it was afterburners, maybe called something else, but that was the word that popped into my head when I saw it. But it did a very good impression of the Norway Spiral 2 or 3 times, then flames came out of the bottom (which I could see were clearly flames) and lit up the lower right part of the "cloud" orange. Then it slowly descended till I couldn't see anymore because of the mountain.

We have very little light pollution, my sis was in Ventura and I got clearer pics out in the desert. I actually got video but it isn't clear enough to make out much more than the "cloud" color on the landing part because unlike the whole event, that part was "small" and my camera couldn't see it.

How come there's no real amateur footage of any of the apparently 'landings'?

Because, depending on the trajectory of the launch , most of the landings are far out at sea on special remote controlled
"drone" barges (JUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS - Pacific, OF COURSE I STILL LOVE YOU - Atlantic)

Don't find many amateurs far out to sea waiting to film landings

The ones that return to land (Cape Canaveral) are in high security areas where

1) Non authorized people are not allowed to wander around

2) There are exclusion zones for safety around the landing zones While SPACE X has seemingly perfected the
flyback and landing of the boosters there are occasional OOOPS

Like the failure in February this year of the core stage booster for Falcon Heavy which crashed several hundred meters
from the drone barge

Look up the Falcon Heavy landing. Plenty of amateur footage of it. Even footage from far away. If they can land those two rockets simultaneously, I doubt there'd be a need to fake a single rocket landing.
