An anti-Trump professor, Dr. Carol Christine Fair, is no longer teaching classes at Georgetown University following calls for the outspoken liberal educator to be fired.

Fair stirred up controversy on Twitter when she wished miserable deaths upon Republican senators supporting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Her tweet stated:

“Look at [this] chorus of entitled white men justifying a serial rapist’s arrogated entitlement,” she wrote. “All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps. Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.”

Gerogetown University originally "supported her right to free speech" while expressing her own private views. However, now that the media (thanks to Laura Ingram of Fox News) has shed light on her tweet and questioned the university response, she is now on leave.

Joel Hellman, dean of the School of Foreign Services (SFS) where Fair is a distinguished associate professor, made the statement Friday afternoon pointing to the importance of a bias-free classroom where students can learn.

“To prevent further disruption to her students and out of an abundance of caution for the security of our community, we have mutually agreed for Professor Fair to go on research leave effective immediately,” Hellman wrote in a statement to the SFS community. “Professor Fair will accelerate previously scheduled international research travel.”

Is "international research travel" the new euphemism for suspended with pay until the heat is off??? I give the university a "C" grade for this response to her violent statement. At least her Twitter feed was suspended by Twitter for breaking their posting rules.

I hope someone watches this story and keeps tabs on what the university does after the mid-term elections in November. I certainly hope cooler heads prevail and she is prevented from ever teaching students again.

I'd like to know why Twitter isn't banning that professors account or the Hollywood sniphats attacking Collins and others.

As I mentioned in my OP, Twitter actually did suspend her account for violating their terms of service.

She sounds lovely.

Unfortunately, she'll probably be back to work in a few weeks.

I understand....and I too am taken aback by the level and depth of the socialist infestation in our nation at this time. As for Twitter, my protest is simply to not use their platform.

The hate speech is epic which they were decrying white nationalists for doing earlier in the year.

Amazing. Not so much she felt and or thought that. But someone in that position was that stupid to put it all out there. In print. On the internet.

Maybe in the current environment, those of a more obtuse and possibly violent nature feel more secure in being open with their thoughts.

What is so different between what she is advocating and what those who propagated genocide advocated?

Just a guess but she probably feels righteous in her disdain for those she want's to feed to the pigs. She is a Holy Warrior against the patriarchy and a role model for others to follow. ....Yikes!

ETA: I posted too soon. Here are folks defending her action. She is idolized as a fighter with T-Rex skin. She succeeded because it made people mad.

Suspended isn't good enough... show me one thing Alex Jones ever said that is worse than her...

What is the context of wish in her statement? Is she calling for someone to act for her wishes?
Didn't wish mean something different not to long when they used it to attack trump?
I am not on either side of the aisle, I am a believer of the constitution which is for ALL of us .
We need a reset , maybe a mulligan would better describe what we need with the current government we have.

I have a hard time with the deranged Leftist fixation of wishing people dead that don’t agree with them.
In fact, I am quite #ing sick of hearing it from them.
