I think we need to ponder deeper why the FBI did not interview Ford and Kavanaugh. It is not enough to say they didn't need to because they already testified at the hearing.
Also, Trump had little to lose in allowing that and would have helped aesthetics of a thorough FBI investigation for doubters.
I feel there is more to it that we are missing.
What possible advantage could it be to not interview them?

Yes, lucky more pertinent questions weren't asked of her. Exactly. Why pass up an opportunity for that?
I don't see any downside to it but there must be somehow because it was poor optics not to question her or Kavanaugh.
This is a group that is inquisitive, looks into layers of things, is curious when things are out of place. And not questioning them strikes me a a little out of place.
Maybe it was their intent to go soft on her because she is just a pawn but I don't think so because even as a pawn she was a critical piece in a set of moves that seem to have backfired on the Left in a big way.
They said who they interviewed but also a set of interviews does not make up the full materials of an investigation either. Then there is the matter of Feinstein's face which could not hide her obvious distress.
So maybe someone with legal background could think of some possible reason why it would be better for FBI not to interview her directly at this time...
Oh, sorry that was Trump, while at the same time saying the FBI can look at anything they want to the public. My mistake.

Apparently you didn't get the memo. There were already 6 investigations by the FBI into Kavanaugh. I know the Dems are butthurt nothing was found, but we can't subvert the nomination process to go on forever for butthurt Dems, LOL!

Yet, newly discovered information in the HRC server probe uncovered thousands and thousands of new emails and information ..... yet no one wanted to question how THAT investigation of information could be fully covered and investigated in 1 WEEK.....
what's good for the goose is good for the gander ?
Apparently not if it goes against what YOU believe and the outcome you hoped for.
but the entire debacle brought on by the dems over the BK confirmation isn't partisan BS, not in any way.... nope.

Pretty simply, the FBI could use computers to compare the emails for duplicates. Any dupes could be thrown out. Then the small number of remaining emails, a few thousand, could be reviewed manually by a couple of agents over a week.
100 senators needing to review 1 copy of a 1000 page document 1 at a time over 24 hours isnt nearly the same.
In fact, a technical glitch prevented FBI technicians from accurately comparing the new emails with the old emails. Only 3,077 of the 694,000 emails were directly reviewed for classified or incriminating information. Three FBI officials completed that work in a single 12-hour spurt the day before Comey again cleared Clinton of criminal charges.
“Most of the emails were never examined, even though they made up potentially 10 times the evidence” of what was reviewed in the original year-long case that Comey closed in July 2016, said a law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation.

Sperry points out that even that "extremely narrow" review of just a small fraction of the emails found that classified information was being either sent or received via Clinton's unauthorized, unsecured private server.

Pyle is being disingenuous, they did not investigate those emails.
