I don't know what this is

Or where to put it since it's not a dream or a prediction but the other day I read a story about horrible animal abuse in or around Indonesia and I prayed that they'd get hit with a huge EQ followed by a huge Tsunami (my exact words/thoughts). I even wrote it down in the comments of the video. I also put a curse on them.. a good old fashioned Italian curse. I mustered the energy and let it fly! I know this kind of thing is common in that area and all but. This isn't going to end for them. And now I feel bad.

Give yourself a break. I don't think you're to blame. You didn't do this. But I think this is an opportunity for personal growth and learning... To find a better way for the future. Perhaps blessings instead of cursings?

For what it's worth, this is one reason I never pray for specific outcomes; instead I pray for the best outcomes and the best interests of everyone and for God's will to be done -- not mine... He knows far better than me!

even if you have the slightest beliefs in the ability to curse someone why would you?

Even if they have done something so bad, you should never put yourself on the same level as those you think are deserving of suffering.

The universe will balance things out and it will all come back to you or someone you love and you will witness their pain.


You cant blame yourself for whats happened but you can take something away from the feelings you are having for cursing someone.

Yes, you're all right. And I don't mean to say that I think I made it happen, no way possible.
I just got caught up in a rush of such emotion over what I was seeing that I thought of the harshest thing I could. I don't really mean it, some things are just so terrible, the only thing that makes me feel better in the moment is to think or wish terrible things.

As we well know from 2004's disaster, Indonesia is very susceptible to earthquakes due to its geographical location in the so-called Pacific Ring Of Fire where there are 452 volcanoes - some 75% of the planet's total number - so you needn't feel guilty, Skorpiogurl.

i dont understand the idea of curse. but once i received great curse ( i suppose it was after worship) and well, though i knew it was ok yeah curse and yeah hurt in a way but it had a very soft perfect side to it and it almost didnt want me to believe that it was curse.

If you can't throw a curse or a natural disaster or two at atrocious animal abuse, when can you?

I am the same way when it comes to defenseless animals. I will sprout a volcano in the middle of your village if you hurt that dog. Not that I have the power to do that, but if I did there would be a lot less animal abuse in this world.

People can screw with each other all they want. I don't care. But leave the children and the animals alone.

Well truth be told I feel the same way. I know I didn't cause it but I feel bad, but at the same time a small part of me thinks it would be a good thing if the perpetrators of said abuse was among those who are suffering. And that makes me feel bad too.

Um you should feel bad. Even though your curse will do absolutely nothing, you should not wish harm on thousands of innocent people for the actions of a few.

That is stupid thinking, and there is far too much of that going around now a days.

Do not take all the honor in that.. I spit out curses at everyone that treat animals bad.
Its the lowest of lowest form of "humans" that does not show respect for other life forms.
I think a lot of people do the same.
