Hi Nostranova,

I thought i would leave a short history of the Ghost Club below:-

www.openculture.com...

Anyone can join now but in 1977 it was very difficult, a panel of senior members could black ball you, i was very lucky to become a member when i was 20.

Hi Newbeginning,
Thank you for your welcome, i have managed my 20 posts, so can post in other forums, but will hang around to help others!
You need your own introductory thread, ask established members how to do this, i'm a newbie!

Thank you. I never knew of this club until you mentioned it. I would never have guessed some of those members.

Looking forward to your contributions!

Hey astronomer I'm in south Essex not far from london so welcome aboard from a fellow Brit. One question for you, how do you find the time to be an astronomer while living in London the light pollution is terrible. I'm an amateur photographer and curse at the amount of light pollution we have here in the south east.

Enjoy your stay here

Hello was looking through your thread becauase they are intrersting to me. So a late hello and an question.

with all the myths about Planet X, i wonder why that was mentioned, if "The Goblin" does exist i would wait for further investigation, but is fascinating. So far there is growing evidence that "Planet 9" does exist, however it would need to be 4 times the diameter of the Earth to explain its gravitational pull on the orbits of Trans-Neptune objects!

Could this be a star we are talking about here.
