lol ok........or i could flip my A1 to "freedom" and have more rounds and not have to worry about a side load system effing up my sight picture because its too heavy on one side........

also efficiency........meh.......cool novelty, not practical

But but it will never jam!!!! They said so!!! I bet you don’t even need to clean it (ala ordinance pushing the M16 to Vietnam with the wrong powder and no cleaning kits telling the troops the rifle didn’t need any cleaning). Trust me you’re preaching to the choir buddy I think this thing is a big fail it still baffles me having half assed “caseless” ammo in the “charger blocks” not to mention not even having true electronic ignition just electromechanical.

Eliminates the need for extra mags...?

Five rounds per, a block of five, or was it four--sounds like a maximum of 25 rds. An AR magazine is 20, or even 30...hello. Not seein' a whole lot of advantage there...

Never clean? Where've we heard that particular mantra before??

It's an idea worth exploring certainly, but this particular one, ain't the one.

...and just out of curiosity...wasn't that a Hind in that video???

I was being facetious about the no cleaning part and in theory I guess you could have 10 of the blocks snapped together but it’d be very impractical there’s a reason side/top mags have fallen out of favor. I had thought it was 4 per block but apparently it’s five still an asinine system. Sure looked like an MI attack helo, maybe they’re going for the “Red Dawn” flavor?! Lol

Not to mention you can’t carry individual rounds to top off mags and one of those charge blocks empty just the block alone probably weighs as much as say 3 or 4 aluminum STANAG mags.

It's a harmonica gun with delusions of grandeur.

CT technology actually does the cooling thing better.

As far as chamber heat yes but the heat we were discussing was the actual barrel heat from having the multiple bores stacked.
