Flagging Non-Political Posts

Does anyone else scroll through the new topics on ATS and flag most of the non-political threads? I have found myself doing this more and more lately as I want to reward those folks that take the time to post outside of the political "Mud-pit". I don't necessarily flag every non-political threads as some people don't put in enough effort and some don't make any sense, but for the most part I like to see some non-political flavor on my ATS top posts page.

So, am I the only one rewarding folks for non-political threads? I am thinking not.

I am simply curious.

If anti-political is itself political, but anti-matter is not the same as matter so I am completely uncertain.

I always flag the unique and original non political threads, even if I don't agree with the OP.

Just trying to be a change that leads us out of the brainwashing.

I definitely do. I love reading about fresh topics. That's why I came here. I'm working on a few of my own threads soon but I've been stuck working 14hr days and haven't had the time.

The problem I see is that people continuously bring the mudpit behavior into those threads and ridicule, mock, and derail them immediately. Usually it seems 3 out of 4 of the first 4 posts are just that. It irritates me to no end. There's being a skeptic, and there's being a dick.

I've got a new thread in Off-topic. You can flag that one, if you like.

I flag the threads that interest me. I also flag the threads that are interesting but are being ignored .

I flag what I think is worthy of a discussion or attention and don't flag without a reason.
I ignore all the politics and rarely, if ever,would I flag one....it has to be well written and thought up to get a flag.(if I even click on it in the first place)

I LOVE when I see a non-political thread as the most flagged.

My ATS highlight of the year was the AMA we had last week....that was classic ATS and I wish I could have given it more flags!!
