The Republicans didn't even attempt to gather idiological opposition or muckrake Garland because he never moved to that stage. It isn't accurate to say they stalled because they couldn't find anything against him. They stalled because they used the Biden Rule. Another example of done-it-in-the-past do-it-now mentality from Congress.

*I'm not saying anything they would have offered up in regards to Garland would have been legitimate.

The problem is that most people will just read the headline and figure that Ford's friend has changed her story to support Ford's account. However, this is not the case. She still claims that she wasn't there and can't corroborate anything. So what exactly is the STORY she will be telling the FBI??
Perhaps she will have a "revelation" like Ford while under hypnosis or some other nonsense.

One thing is for sure...Ford is a despicable human being. IF....IF...she was at some party with just her and her friend, WHY WOULD SHE LEAVE HER THERE WITH A HOUSE FULL OF RAPISTS?? What kind of friend does that??
Also...why did this "friend" not question where Ford went?? The next day this "friend" didn't question Ford as to why she left?? What a joke.

Nice to know that you will come to the conclusion he's evil no matter what evidence is provided like a good partisan hack.

Well it seems clear now from most of the talking heads on the left that if all efforts to destroy Kavanaugh, disrupt and delay fail, and even if the allegations against him can't be proven, or if he somehow is proven innocent of the allegations, it won't matter because through his anger he exposed bias against democrats, named the Clintons he can't be impartial on the court, so the fight will never end. If he somehow survives all of this they will fight for impeachment, and against every decision he makes because he doesn't like democrats.

Been reading a bit about how nobody can find anything about her license as a psychologist. She is required to have one in CA in order to call herself such....and there isnt one for her in the database.

SOMEONE is ("very recently") altering/scrubbing Ford's title.

On September 10, 2015, the only archived date available, Ford’s faculty page was saved to the Wayback Machine and showed Ford listed as a “research psychologist” along with her email address and office phone number.

The most recent version of that page shows Ford listed only as an “Affiliate” in the department, with the words “research psychologist” removed along with Ford’s email address and phone number.

This suggests the page was altered by someone very recently to scrub Ford’s contact information and title after she entered the national spotlight

Hopefully the FBI investigation will be able to lay some of these concerns to rest.

Yeah...I read about that as well. It appears any mention on websites of her being a psychologist are being scrubbed. The only mentions now are in recent news reports.

Problem is she claimed she was one in her testimony.

If that is the case, then couldn't she be charged with lying under oath? And, that being a definite black mark on her credibility under the (apologies of I get the exact quote wrong), "if you find one falsehood, then all are falsehoods" statement made by one of the Democratic Senators during the hearing when speaking to BK?

Nice catch there! As I was reading the comments after the story, there is a part where Ford's testimony is talked about. The claim is that she never actually stated that Kav was the one on top of her. When questioned, Ford replied that, "...as one of them got on top of me".


Pretty damning if true...as is her lying about being a Psychologist.

Her lawyers refused ("under any circumstances") to release her medical records to judiciary investigators.

I'm guessing the FBI has access.

also, show me the copy of the other candidate year books? I recall seeing a lot of stupid things, including a multi million dollar investigation to see if the pres. scored with an intern in the white house. I could have answered that for 35 cents, yes, it is the build up over time of absolute circus level antics that really need to be addressed. I would be shocked if Trump didn't bang a porn star, really, with all the problems we have this is what we are focused on,, what is next? did you drink a beer? yes, but it is okay, it was a lite beer. have you ever been in a room? one with another person in it? with the lights on or off? did you ever shake it more than three times? really, all the crap in the world and right here in our homes, and this is what we are focusing on. I will admit it, I am ashamed of my congress, my senate and the people I sent there. I have been a fool wasting my money on this crap, and I need to reflect on my life choices. And personally I think a lot of Americans out there need to do that too.

Later, she brought up something about two doors, one her mom went through and she went through the other leading into the Safeway store where Mark worked. Their eyes locked, and he looked uncomfortable.

Reading more like a girl's fantasy turned adult psychotic to me.
