"Globalism" has lead to small wars in sovereign countries which were not big enough to fend off the global elite.
To say globalism has prevented wars is a fallacy. If you are in the globalism club then you get to prey on those who are not in the club. Lybia,
Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iran, Venezuela, a number of Central-American countries, etc...
Globalism does not raise wages in traditionally higher income countries, it erodes it to the lowest common denominator.
Anyone who claims different is either ignorant or a straight out liar.
The US can reject globalism and still be competitive in the world because of our innovation and work ethic. I have traveled the world working in
other countries that needed and appreciated the experience, expertise and hard work we brought to the table. And we don't need to twist countries
arms or get into tangled alliances with shady dictatorships (like Saudi Arabia) to do it. Those tangled alliances based on "globalism" are actually
crony capitalism by the good 'ol boys/elites club which are too lazy to actually earn their contracts on merit.
Anyone who is in college or fresh out of it, I would suggest they go out and learn the ways of the world before getting suckered into some vague
"globalism" ideology that they don't yet understand.
