It is smart to have allies, especially with Europe and anyone else we can get.
China is transitioning into a digital dictatorship and is planning on expanding its influence by sharing its technology with like-minded friends and building infrastructure in other countries as well in order to gain influence there. Russia certainly doesn't like us, either.

I have thought for a while now that we America should become again isolationists (staying out of others social and political affairs) and produce products and services internally to be used internally, and sell products externally and have limited imports. We have become a society that relies on inexpensive products from other countries and cheap food products, we should want more for our citizens. I think it would take a hard 5 years to get America back into the swing of producing and consuming internally, but during this time you would see a shape increase in employment and economic growth. The we would be self sufficient again.

Is war what you want ? You happy for your children to die in conflict ?
Globalism is a way of avoiding war ,you reject it at your own peril.
there no longer can be any doubt that U.S. President Donald Trump wants to dismantle the liberal world order. That order—a system of multilateral arrangements, alliances, and institutions—was built in the ashes of World War II under U.S. tutelage and strength of arms. It extends from the European Union and NATO to the long-standing security guarantees Washington has established with Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea. The resulting Pax Americana laid the groundwork for the greatest period of peace and prosperity in human history.

Hmmmm Let me think....
Live yet be controlled by a one world government that can dictate my freedoms without having a say...
vs
Die fighting that same global, fascist, communist dictatorship that wants to control me and spread my earnings...
Guess I'll die with my boots on...
Sometimes war is necessary if you want freedom. Sometimes the price of freedom is paid for with a lot of blood.
I'd rather be a free man than a slave.
