Why Trump is So Determined to Fix China U.S. Trade

I do not get why the United States put so much faith in dealing with China since their introduction into the WTO back in 2001. It is like doing the same thing with Russia. China and Russia are both Communists, it makes no sense and the people who ran U.S. in the 50's are prolly turning in their graves know that we pal around with the commies. I know there is a bit difference between China and Russia but the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is in total control of everything having the ability to make their stock market do whatever they want it to do. While the rest of the order follows the rules of the WTO (World Trade Organization).

Chinese state run media portrays themselves as the victims to big ol America.

China said they would play fair but it is obvious they are not doing what they promised.

They manipulate their currency

In this video there is a graph of what was suppose to happen over time to the China trade surplus with the U.S. but as you can see a 6:35 it is nothing like what was suppose to happen. We should have spread it out with different Countries.

Anyway I think Trump is doing the right thing in taking on China but I hope China is not just waiting for Trump to lose 2020. If he were to lose I just hope the new President sticks with it cause it is truly massed up with what they are get away with.

What happens if China stops buying US debt and lets the country be? We'll never find out what would happen because neither country is stupid enough to find out. China will not dump the over 1 trillion dollars they own and the US isn't stupid enough to force them.

What is the difference of that and losing more the a trillions in intellectual property over the decades? We lose more of that then them buying the debt.

It's the beginning of the New World Order.

The Old Order was established after WW2 and, well... it's getting old and it does not really work any more. A new order has been in the works for quite a while, and we're watching parts of it unravel before us.

Who knows what they talk about in Davos, but we are definitely part of the talks and we're playing a big role.

The United States would have no need to impose tariffs if people stopped buying chinese garbage.

This is the end result of Capatilism. The host goverment having to step in and make adjustments because it is starting to affect joe six pack.

I read a theory that rings true in a way. We'll see.

It will be hard to get every country in the world under the same NWO, even though we are all pretty much under it through the banking system already. Still, countries like their own sovereignty.

So, it was suggested that conflicts and trade wars and real wars will begin and the world will be sectioned off into smaller pacts. All the smaller countries will fall in with these pacts.

At the end, when everyone has had enough, the leaders of the few pacts will join forces and drag all of their followers with them, without any real choice.

Voilà, NWO!

The way they enforce ideas in U.S. is patent infringement. There is a video on China Uncensored talking about all the ideas China has stolen. One example was McDonalds but instead of two arches they had 3. Not to mention all those phony handbags and watches, that is just the tip of the iceberg.

You are right on how it is different but we wouldn't have had to borrow if we had that money they so obviously stole from U.S.

It is like citizens do their best and start something only to get screwed half way around the world.

We can't buy or build a factory in China to start manufacturing like they can in the US. We need to partner with a Chinese company and let them have a 51% interest. This is how they acquire our trade secrets and intellectual property. We need to bust that system open.

Yes.

China is the biggest owner of non-US holder debt, followed by Japan. Chinas holdings went up more in 2017 than it did in the past seven years. I wonder what this year will bring?

I agree with you to a point. If the US made it attractive for companies to stay there, they wouldn't be leaving for other countries where it is cheaper to produce. I know that most countries don't have as strict (or even any in some cases) safe work policy (including hours, conditions, etc) so it is nearly impossible to compete with them, but there are people FAR smarter than me that should be able to make it attractive to produce at home again.

If they cut back on the military and policing the world, they wouldn't have to borrow to finance widening budget deficits. The war on drugs was a losing battle and a black hole for money, just as "freeing" the world is a losing battle and a black hole for money.
