More Blasey Ford discrepancy.....loud music....

So another small but significant piece of this puzzle just hit me.....

The actual letter she wrote to Feinstein was released.

And in that letter she states:

Kavanaugh physically pushed me into a bedroom as I was headed for a bathroom up a short stair well from the living room. They locked the door and played loud music precluding any successful attempt to yell for help.

Kavanaugh was on top of me while laughing with Judge, who periodically jumped onto Kavanaugh. They both laughed as Kavanaugh tried to disrobe me in their highly inebriated state. With Kavanaugh's hand over my mouth I feared he may inadvertently kill me.

From across the room a very drunken Judge said mixed words to Kavanaugh ranging from "go for it" to "stop."

Now this is the funny part to me....the music is SO loud according to her that it "precluded" or made impossible any attempt to yell for help....suggesting I guess that she did?

But it was not loud enough to drown out Judge from across the room saying "go for it" and "stop".....mind you she didnt say he yelled it....he "said" it...from across the room....and she was able to hear him?

You and I both know they will "spin" it.
Think once it comes out that this is just a delay tactic, all involved should be prosecuted for defamation of character.

Now I know from playing loud music that it is in the room itself you cant hear other people....not outside the room. It is actually pretty easy to hear someone yelling in a room that has loud music playing when you are outside the room.

Anyone can test this particular discrepancy easily for themselves.

Now inside the room is a different story....you can play music loud enough that you can hear someone yelling at the top of their lungs at you.

She claims it was loud enough that people outside could not hear her, yet she could clearly hear Judge saying specific phrases?

I'd be happy to set up the acoustics test for the committee....

I completely agree.

I wish there would be some law passed that if an allegation is found to be false the the accuser should get the max sentence of what they accused someone of as well as have to pay back any money spent in the defense of such.

It would likely make people think a little harder before making false allegations.

I would love for just such a acoustic test to be performed for this scenario with whatever layout Ford says the house was in. They could play the music as loud as it could get with whatever high end home stereo from that time and have someone sit in the room and scream.

I'd bet every single dime I have that you could not get the stereo loud enough to drown out a scream for help...especially one that was from a panicked sexual assault as is claimed....

I'd also bet every dime I have that you COULD get it loud enough you couldn't hear someone from across whatever size room saying anything.

I do not trust this woman's recollection of the event. I do not know what happened but I have a feeling that her memory is pretty messed up from that period of time. Disrobe her? She was in a robe? Most parties back thirty five years ago had loud music, an amp and turntable with advent or bose speakers were really common around here. Like you said, loud music yet she can hear someone from across the room talking.

I think something is not right about her allogations. I think it is possible there was something that once happened, but if it had, why did she not bring it up long ago or at least have a witness to verify it or even someone she told this to thirty five years ago that could verify what she is talking about.

I'm guessing she is a Democrat and is twisting things a bit to make him look bad. Yes, it is possible that he was involved in some weird sex encounter with her, but I am thinking that this is blown up for political reasons.
