Well I remember Facebook recently talking about increasing the size of the meme police force. Twitter and FB have been playing off of one another for a while now with this new censorship game. So, no surprise I guess. It's happening a little faster than I expected though.

Because corporations like Facebook and Twitter control so much of the social network "infrastructure" it's more than a little frightening for me to see them so aggressively censoring material that they don't agree with. Or, worse yet, these businesses are trying to protect their users from their own stupidity.

It's a fine line between breaking up Chinese or Russian psyops, and censoring the free speech of citizens who are dedicated to a cause that they don't like. FB and Twitter have jumped that shark and they are headed for the deep water. They need to recognize the broader scope of their societal responsibility and realize that it's not their place, or responsibility, to remove content just because it doesn't meet their political correctness standards.

I'm not a fan of JW's politics. But I will defend his right to post most anything he wants that doesn't incite violence or advocate other unlawful behavior.

And, if I'm not mistaken, James Woods usually plays characters that are assholes. Being an asshole on Twitter and posting content that pisses people off would seem to be right in character with him.

Surely there has to be another reason. This cannot be true.

@realjameswoods had a following of nearly 2m people on Twitter and has conservative views - that is why he was suspended from the platform. Period.

It may have been the straw that broke the camels back - President Trump has just signed an executive order to initiate investigations on social media companies for breach of anti-Trust laws.

It will actually be the Alex Jones case that will most likely cost the social media companies, though - the level of coordination in that particular case is very damning.

I have seen it called "Cuck Face". As far as knowing the answer to your question? I have no idea! I myself find it amusing and if not annoying to see it myself.


However, I do enjoy seeing those who find it cool to do so and would NEVER want to say they couldn't do it. I mean that would be fascist to prevent people from expressing their opinion wouldn't it?

This is not a partisan issue. Just remember though, the ones being censored now wont always be the ones censored. The pendulum always swings back the other way. Always.

The fact you basically cheer open and transparent banning based on political affiliation is a good thing though as it always everyone to completely discount your opinion going forward when you laughably try and claim impartiality on issues.

They are banning anyone and everyone who doesn't follow their socialist logic. It's that simple.

This is what people were trying to tell everyone, but all the socialists just go Boo Hoo, not realising they too will be there when there is no one left to target.

Soon even their echo chambers will be split into camps, and more and more and more, till there is nothing but the 'private government' that can do what they please, considering they are private.
