MSM's manipulation of the left.

I've been watching for three years how the liberal media manipulates their viewers. With cherry picked quotes, bold face lie's and jokes taken literally.

Let's start the manipulation near the beginning.

"Mexicans are rapists and murderers"

That quote is 1/2 of 1 sentence out of an entire paragraph. They left out "and I assume some good people" because that wouldn't anger people as much as their version . The left still uses it to this day. ( i'm sure this is old news to many but I had to start somewhere )

Or how about "I could shoot someone on fifth Avenue and not lose any voters"

First off that was true. lol

Secondly it was a joke taken literally. It caused weeks of outrage, anger and melt water from snowflakes . There was speculation on shows like Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper on whether Trump would actually do that. (speechless)

The following quote is being weaponized to this day.

"Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing".

Again a joke.
* note pay particular attention to the word "you're". A reference to the future not the past. It refers specifically to the 30,000 deleted emails on Hillary's home server.

Trump made the joke at a time when Hillary's server was in the possession of the FBI. But none of that meant anything to the liberal media . I think it was at that point they started their cry of Russia!! Russia!! Russia!!

Then there was the serial groper claim over the access Hollywood tape.

"grab them by the p#*#y" they wielded like a moral wand.

It was just another cherry picked soundbite. When you read the text he says "they let you". The way I look at it is if movie stars are throwing it at me. I'm damn sure going to catch it.

But the clincher for me and also proved coordination between media outlets. Was when Trump called MS 13 animals. The next news cycle just about every liberal news media outlet missquoted him the same way and claimed Trump called all illegal aliens animals. There is no way all of those media outlets could come to that conclusion on his statement independently. I'd like to see them hauled before Congress to explain that little 'coincidence'.

The mainstream media continually pushes fairytales like these. Because they think their audience is so gullible they will believe them.( If I was on the left that level of contempt would offend me)

I don't think most of the people on the left are that dumb or gullible.

I believe that many on the left know damn good and well that some of the information is fake, misrepresented or taken out of context.


But they will still gleefully take jokes literally and facts figuratively because many on the left are smart enough to know exactly what's going on. But they are also unscrupulous enough to lie about it as long as it further's their cause.

Which is removing Trump from office facts be damned.

The problem is the left doesn't hate Trump at a political level. They hate him at a personal level which makes them easier to control .


I posted this before but it's worth posting again .

Bill Ivy to John Podesta . I would say they were 100% successful .

They have a little game they like to play. Knowingly Put out a false story. Let 2 million people see it. 3 days later admit it was a mistake. Only problem is that word of mouth has spread this lie to 10 million people. That's a big reason the left has gone ignorant unfortunately.

Oh, so Trump isn't actually as unhinged as he comes across then?

He just likes making stupid "jokes"... That's cool, I love "jokes". I even make a lot of stupid jokes amongst my peers at work all the time, which often go misunderstood... but big deal, right?

But I'll tell ya something... when addressing my superiors at work, I pay special attention to ensure I don't make any stupid jokes, which may be misconstrued.

You'd hope that the most powerful person on the planet, would at the very least be as competent as me and be able to realize that stupid jokes aren't appropriate, well addressing the entire fricken world.

... But apparently not.

Both of them have their agendas. But I do tend to trust fox ( but verify ) for the simple reason they’ll let you hear both sides and don’t inundate you with 90% anti-trump coverage . Fox has Shep and Wallace who loathe Trump and let it be known. They also have Neal Cavado, Bret Baer and Tucker Carlson, who will call trump out when needed .

Repeatedly I’ve asked people to show me five similar host/anchors on any liberal news channel that will call out liberals or liberal policy .

So far all anyone’s been able to give me are contributors .

But bottom line I don’t believe anyone until I’ve researched it myself. I guess technically lack of research is the premise for this thread .

So you really have no idea what a joke is.

He was trying to make light of a bad situation, is all.

The better question is which is less dishonest.

But when we have to ask which is "more" honest we've already lost the media.

The only reasonable thing to do is find enough different sources to try and dig what the facts actually are.
