TAT and anon posted a interesting and sad thought. He said that DJT folks are quiet, cold anger I guess, so the they really do not appear as a force. He mentioned that in LV this was very prevalent in a state where no one cares and politics.

Nate Silver said today that the Dems could gain 45 seats, could gain 3 seats, or could lose 10 seats...admitted he just doesn't know. What's his track record? That's all that matters with any of these prognosticators.

Looking beyond the mid-terms at the fate of the Democrats...

The size of a RED WAVE matters. What happens in the following cases?

a) Dems have only 10 Senators?
b) Dems have only 5 Senators?
c) Dems have less than 5 Senators?
d) Dems have less than 100 congressmen?
e) Dems have less than 50 congressmen?
f) Dems have less than 25 congressmen?

I assume at one of the above boundaries, the Democrats will decide the party cannot be re-elected in its current state.

So what happens? Will they form a new party with a new tack (agenda)? To distance from the Dems failure? A U.S. equivalent of Liberal Democrats? Or Green Party?

Does the balance between Republicans and new party change from centre to centre-right?

Does a new party allow the cabal to re-birth and re-direct?
