I'm certain that Dems will not demand that Ford's x-boyfriend be interviewed by the FBI.
Or, they'll demand it be limited in scope and done quickly.

There’s also Senate procedure, which takes time. Over a period of several days, McConnell would need to end debate on the nomination; provide a one-day waiting period; and then the Senate would need to vote on a cloture motion. That would open things up for the final Senate debate on the nomination, which can last up to 30 hours.
If the Senate follows these rules, the FBI Investigation findings will need to be presented to the Senate tomorrow (Wednesday) if a vote is to occur "this week". I'm assuming that means before Sunday night.

Something big. Right now I feel like I'm being teased.
Foreplay is great, but let's go for the gold.

Nope, that vote has already been held. They voted to move it forward but with added investigation. They don't have to end debate or vote to close motion again. (If I understood Friday correctly)

That's great! Dem Senators must feel pretty impotent, with so much being accomplished, inspite of their obstruction attempts.
Diane Feinstein said this evening that a Friday vote is too soon. Maybe she's coming down with a Chinese Flu bug again.

Yeah.
Justice needs to be quick.
In 'n out.
Off with their heads!
String 'em up!
Rangle a posse!
Lock 'em up!
